It's a nice ceiling lamp that thank God it uses two regular bulbs. I am tired of throwing out those pre built LED lamps when they stop working.The installation is the typical screw into the utility plate type and there is no secondary mounting system for direct drywall mounting.You can put in two 9 Watt LED bulbs and have the equivalent light of a 120 Watt incandescent bulb, which would be very bright. The Milk Glass does absorb a fair amount of light and in exchange you get no glare from the Lamp.The metal that makes up the frame is pretty good, it is not flimsy. The paint job seems to be durable and well done.Everything Fit together nicely but I should warn you that the black end cap in the center that holds on the shade is going to be a bit difficult to get off when you need to remove the shade to replace a bulb.This fixture will work with dimming switches if you have the LED bulbs capable of dimming.Overall for the price this is good choice for a ceiling lamp.

This fixture keeps a low profile while using two light sources, which is a practical combination for bedrooms, halls, closets, and smaller living areas. A single-bulb flush mount can leave the room feeling uneven, particularly when the shade absorbs some output. Two bulbs allow better coverage and provide more flexibility in choosing the total brightness.The black finish gives the fixture definition against a light ceiling without requiring a hanging shape or decorative crystals. It can coordinate with black door hardware, fans, curtain rods, and other small accents while remaining simple enough not to lock the entire room into one style. I would use matching bulbs with the same color temperature and output so the shade does not reveal two visibly different light sources.Two sockets allow useful flexibility, but the bulbs need physical clearance inside the shade as well as the correct base. Oversized decorative bulbs can touch one another or sit too close to a diffuser even when their electrical wattage is acceptable. I test the shade installation with both bulbs in place and verify that nothing binds. I clean the shade before final assembly because dust becomes much more obvious once the lights are on.

This is a beautiful black flush-mount ceiling light. It has two lights and a modern look, with clear hammered glass. It goes well in the kitchen or bedroom entranceway.Translate 365° white angle light bulb sockets. The bulbs are not included; the manufacturer says you can put up to a 60 W lightbulb in each of the two sockets, which would be 120 W of LED light, which should be a tremendous amount of light and more light than you probably want. The amount of light you use in this fixture depends on where you place it. When purchasing bulbs and what size for LED lightbulbs try to remember that a 9 W LED lightbulb gives the equivalent amount of light of an old style 100 W incandescent lightbulb therefore if you put a 9 W to 9 W LED lightbulbs in this fixture you’d have the equivalent of 200 W of old style and congestive use that image in calculation to determine the size of bulbs you wish to buy.This fixture comes with an install plate and will connect to an existing US standard junction box. If you choose to do the installation yourself, I have three caveats I always tell people who are doing an installation by themselves that may be helpful.First, make certain you’ve turned off the power at the circuit breaker control, power box circuit breaker control, and power box; most homes have the power box in the basement. In some homes, a circuit breaker control box is located in the garage, particularly if the home does not have a basement. Once you locate the circuit brake control panel box have a friend standby the existing light for the junction box you’re about to begin work on turn that existing light on and then stay in cellular communication with your friend while you are turning circuit breakers on and off asking your friend to let you know when the light goes Off when your friend tells you the light went off three or four times to make certain you have the correct circuit breaker. Turn the circuit breaker off.Second, go to the junction box you’ve been working on and bring an electrical test device. I always recommend that you don’t do any electrical work without an electrical testing device in your pocket. I always carry one. It looks like a carpenter pencil, but it’s actually a plastic pen. When you push the top, a red light shows it’s powered on. I put the tip of the pen near a wire that’s energized. It starts chirping like a bird, and the light starts flashing. If I put it near a 240 V clothes dryer wire, it chirps twice as fast and flashes twice as fast. This is an important safety tool to have with you when you’re checking wires. With this tool, check all the wires in the junction box you begin working on to make sure none of them are still energized.Thirdly, many people do not know how to use a wire lock. This fixture requires the use of wire lock nuts to connect the house service wires, which are 14-gauge single-strand copper, to the fixture wires, which are 28-gauge multi-strand copper wire. For example, after you've threaded all the wires through the appropriate installation brackets and they’re in the right location to be connected. Take the black wire from the fixture and the black wire from the house service side. Make sure the last half centimeter of insulation has been removed, but the points are pointing in the same direction; cover both points for the wire lock nut and twist clockwise until a firm, mechanical, and electrical connection has been established. Do the same with the white wire and the green wire.Once you have followed all the manufacturer's instructions to have installed this beautiful flush mount, check the bulbs, check the lights, and make a determination as to whether you want to get a dimmer switch and put that on this picture, or get bulbs with a lower wattage so it's less bright, but that’s up to your decorating taste.
