I absolutely love this outdoor light! I got the polished brass, and it completely changed the look of the area where I put it. It has that beautiful old-fashioned lantern feel, but it doesn't look dated at all. The brass gives it such a rich look and makes the outside of the house feel a little more special.I was especially impressed with the size. At around 13 inches, it's noticeable without looking oversized or overpowering the wall. Once you put a bulb inside, the clear panels let the light show beautifully and you can really appreciate the shape of the fixture at night.The quality also impressed me when I took it out of the box. It doesn't have that lightweight, inexpensive feel that some outdoor fixtures have. Everything feels nicely put together, and the polished brass looks even better in person than it did online.I also love that I can change its entire personality just by changing the bulb. I'm using mine for a warmer, softer look, which makes the brass especially pretty at night.This is one of those relatively simple home upgrades that makes a surprisingly big difference. I'm very happy with how it looks and would absolutely choose this style again.

From the solid brass fittings, to the crystal sides, to the entire look of the lamp, it screams "I am beautiful."According to the accompanying manual, installation is both straightforward and easy. As long as you remember to switch off the breaker box, I can assure you that you can install this in record time.And elegance? It reeks of it. What more can one say than that?For the mundanities: it is waterproof, but frankly, I expect that from an outdoor light. They describe it as vintage. But me, I describe it as classical. Take a look at the pictures. This is a lamp that can fit in all but the most advanced modern schemes.I like it for its versatility too. It can handle just about every type of bulb; to quote: Whether you want soft ambient light for evening porch gatherings, brighter illumination for front door safety, or energy-saving LED lighting for long-term use, it adapts perfectly to every outdoor scenario.Me, I am in love with bright light on the front porch scenario. But you may want something different, and the point here is that you can get it with this one lamp.Again, gorgeous. I keep coming back to that.

This gold colored outside lantern style Light is really nice. Has some weight to it. Built very solid takes a normal Light bulb. Uses real beveled glass not plastic.

This solid brass light fixture for the outside is beautiful. It has a level of unexpected elegance that is simple, yet it is impactful in the front porch. The glass panels are crystal clear, as the glass panels goes all the way around the perimeter of the lantern style cage; and that makes this wall sconce look that much more elegant and sophisticated. The light shines from this lantern beautifully from all 5 sides. It is not brassy, and it is not shiny either; it is just the right size, and it looks great on the wall. The installation was not complicated; it was simple and straightforward as all of the mounting hardware is included in the package. The style and design of this light is unique, it is durable, and very solid too. This light is well worth the cost, and I highly recommend this product.

It says "solid brass" and I sure hope so because every fixture I've installed over the last 25 years has degraded and corroded because it was merely coated with brass. The vintage style is very nice, with an octagonal plate that is a step up from the ordinary round ones you usually find. The inside is easy to reach--so you can insert a new bulb as needed.It's also billed as "waterproof." So these are all the features I'd like to have for my back porch sconce, based on the size, the E26 bulb socket and the brass and glass design. It's very pretty.
