Solid lock for our shop restroom★★★★★Installed this on our back restroom door in the shop and it’s been working fine. Feels way more sturdy then the cheap handle that was on there before.The indicator is actually helpful so customers can tell if the bathroom is in use or not, saves a lot of knocking lol.Install wasn’t too bad, took maybe 20-30 mins with basic tools. Everything lined up pretty good but I did have to tweak it just a tiny bit.Locks smooth and doesn’t feel loose or flimsy. So far no issues at all, seems like it’ll hold up good even with heavy use.

Let me start off by saying I really like this bathroom door handle. I got this for my guest bath and love the look of it. The bathroom has a black Kohler bowl and espresso accents throughout, so the black handle plays perfectly into the decor. It feels sturdy, doesn’t look cheap, and is great for when you have family visiting or a get together. No more people constantly knocking on the door and asking if someone’s in there.The downside of this item was the installation. First… the unit is larger than the standard size door handle (See Last Photo). So if you're replacing an existing handle you will need to make the hole a little bit wider to fit. Second… The handle comes orientated to the right. My setup required the orientation to be to the left. Switching it around was a bit of a pain in the a__! That brings me to the third issue… The instructions for how to switch the orientation are not as clear as they need to be for that procedure. I actually had to look at videos of other similar handles to get an idea of how to set this one.But with a little patience and a couple choice words that I won’t repeat here, I finally got it set correctly and installed. Despite the installation frustration, I love it. It looks fantastic. And the fact that this unit has a keyed lock is a HUGE plus! No one likes a smart a__ flipping the lock safety switch from the other side and just popping in on ya. Lol.Seriously though, I do think the seller should add an installation video. Other than that I have no complaints.
