According to an internet summary from scienceinsights.org, “ASTM Level 3 refers to the highest level of protection for medical face masks, as defined by ASTM International's F2100 standard. These masks are designed to filter at least 98% of bacteria and small particles while providing significant resistance to fluid penetration at a pressure of 160 mmHg.” These Criterion masks by Henry Shein did indeed help to avoid fogging of my glasses. If I intentionally exhaled forcefully, there was slight fogging but under normal conditions there was none. Breathability was great with no resistance felt. These masks should provide good protection. They fit my face well and sealed as well as many form-fitting masks I have used. I liked the wide adjustable nose piece. It conformed to my face well and helped to prevent gaps. I suppose the size and shape of a face might affect the performance of these masks, but they worked extremely well on my average-sized adult male face. The mask fit me snugly all the way around - at the nose, cheeks, and chin. They seem to do their job well.

Good masks

While the good old days of Covid are long gone, I still find myself needing a lightweight mask for filtering out some dust when I’m working on various projects. After all, not every task requires a full-blown respirator. All I have to say is these masks are perfect!I think most of us are well schooled on basic masks, so I won’t bore you with all the details. But I will say this: These masks are really comfortable, form well to your face, and most importantly, the ear loops feel good! They also do exactly what they’re designed to too and keep the light dust I’m usually dealing with out of my lungs.Overall, I think these are solid masks offered at an exceptional price. If you need to wear it all day, they are as comfortable as they come. Personally, this box now lives in my toolbox, and I actually find myself reaching for one fairly often. I’m 100% satisfied and will get some more when I run out!

When I first opened this box of Henry Schein masks, my initial thought was, "A mask that claims not to fog up my glasses? I've heard that promise before, and it usually ends with me blindly navigating my way through the day." The "ASTM Level 3" and "Anti-Fog" labels sounded great, but I've been burned by foggy lenses enough times to be cautious. The first thing I noticed is that the mask itself feels soft and comfortable against my skin, which is a relief because some of these procedural masks feel like sandpaper. The 3-ply pleated design is breathable, and the flat ear loops don't dig into my ears the way some others do. The adjustable nosepiece is also a lifesaver, letting me mold it to my face so there are no gaps. The true test was, of course, the anti-fog claim. I wore them for a full morning of running around and, for the first time in what feels like forever, my glasses didn't steam up every time I exhaled. It's a small thing, but it makes a huge difference when you're trying to see what you're doing. The ASTM Level 3 rating means they offer high protection against fluids, making them feel like a solid choice if you want that extra peace of mind.I am hoping this box of 50 lasts me a while, because so far, they've been a total win for my daily routine. They're comfortable, they work, and they don't leave my glasses looking like I just stepped out of a sauna. What makes me smile:· The anti-fog design actually works, saving me from the constant glasses-wiping struggle.· They are soft and comfortable against my skin, with no irritating "fuzzies".· The 3-ply material and ASTM Level 3 rating provide reliable protection without being stiff or hard to breathe through.· The adjustable nosepiece and flat ear loops make for a secure and comfortable fit. What makes me side-eye it:· The 50-count box is great for a household, but it's a lot of masks to store.· The anti-fog strip is effective, but if your glasses are really loose, there's only so much it can do.· While the Level 3 rating is high, they are still a surgical mask, not a respirator, so they won't provide a seal-tight fit.

I first encountered the Criterion masks when someone gave me a box. I liked them much better than the no-name masks that I had been using. Those first Criterion were level 1. I liked them well enough that I wanted to give the level 3 Criterion masks a try. There are times when you want the higher level of protection. These Criterion masks have the strip to custom fit the nose. So far they haven't fogged my glasses. They are comfortable to wear and easy to breathe through. The four color options were a plus that allows me to color code levels. So for my setup, blue is level 1 and pink is level 3.Bonus, the masks were Made in USA. These are high quality, reliable masks. When it comes to isolation gear, I don't want to waste time thinking about it, I just want to reach for it and put it on. Value wise the masks were priced at $18 when I ordered them. I find that to be a good value for high quality masks. I might be able to save a little by buying cheaper masks, but it isn't worth getting inferior products. Better to pay the $18 and have the peace of mind that you're getting top quality product. Durability wise masks don't take a lot of wear and tear, but these have held up just fine.

When i saw these pink masks, i had to have them. I am impressed with the overall quality. The light pink color is a nice change from the standard boring clinical blue, giving them a friendlier look. You get 50 pieces per box, a great value for everyday use. As someone who wears glasses, the anti-fog design actually works, and the material feels gentle on the skin. Its not too thick, easy to breathe thru yet still provides protection. It didn't really rub off too much make up. The added on metal helps a bitEven tho they are standard one-size, the fit is comfortable, securing nicely around the ears with the stretchy loops without pulling too tightly or leaving gaps. Even for those of us with chunky faces. Its durability, they hold up perfectly through a full workday without the straps snapping or the layers fraying.
