I love the black color. It’s very thick, well made, and easy to put on. The strap is adjustable to allow for a more snug fit. The padding is comfortable and it’s not too heavy on my head. Good value for the price.-Esse Kay approved

This is not a bad helmet, overall. It does fit firmly and has a ton of room to adjust the size of the inner webbing to fit your head. Once it place, it does hold solidly and doesn't slide around or shift. However, the comfort of that webbing could use some improvement. It's basically just bare plastic straps that hold firmly but will start to rub uncomfortably against your head and upper neck over time. The adjustment knob in the back also digs into my neck a little, but most hard hats do. I haven't tested the impact protection to determine whether it holds up, but the ANSI rating is solid.

In the field that I work in, the blue color of my hardhat means that I am a technical expert and have supervisory duties. Yellow hard hat options abound. Blue ones? Not so much, especially in Type II Class E and OSHA Compliant. While I might not encounter 20,000 VAC, it is nice knowing that I have this much protection available.Here are some of the things that I like about this safety helmet:1. This helmet FITS my BIG head perfectly, with plenty of options for adjustment. This is a BIG plus, especially with the ratchet in the back.2. The helmet is lightweight, and yet feels good in the hand, with the confidence that it can withstand blows from the side as well as the top. This is important when I am on the job.3. The padding is way more than the padding on my current helmet, which hopefully translates to better energy absorption.4. The color is spot on and not sprayed on.5. Modular accessories - this is a GREAT feature, especially since the snap-on visor from my last safety helmet could be used on this one.6. While not the least expensive, I really feel like I am getting a superior product that is well-certified and well-engineered.There are a few cons, but not many:A. The nylon straps could be a little more comfortable and / or have an option for a foam piece at the chin.B. This helmet is a little more expensive than what most companies provide for compliance on the jobsite (I provide my own PPE for the most part, to avoid potential safety issues)The packaging is sufficient and efficient, which I also like a lot - not as much to recycle.Overall, this is a superior product that I hope to be using for several years. Great buy if it is in your budget!

Most people probably think one hard hat is like any other but the first question a buyer should ask is what type of work will be performed while wearing the head protection. There are three classes to be aware of: class C (meaning “conductive” so not suitable for any electrical work), class G (meaning “general” which is ok for electrical work up to 2,200V) and class E (meaning “electrical” which is for electrical work up to 20,000V). This particular safety helmet from LAND is class E. I’m fairly certain all class E hard hats are not vented because any venting would allow a pathway for an electrical arc to reach your head. This one is no different and is unvented by design and requirement. The head circumference band is adjustable by turning the knob on the rear of the suspension mechanism. The head band can move up and down for a comfortable fit. Some designs use multiple straps to suspend the part that touches the top of your head but this one is different. It uses hard Styrofoam and a padded fabric ring to support the weight of the hard hat. A neat magnetic latch keeps the chin strap closed until the user pulls on a little lanyard to release the catch. There is almost no brim on this hard hat so it doesn’t offer protection from the sun. There are integrated mounting rails on the left and right sides for mounting accessories like flashlights. If you want brims, visors or other functionalities, kits can be purchased separately. There doesn’t appear to be any reflective properties to this one so you will need to add your own reflective tape or stickers if desired. Pricing is appropriate for this class E hard hat. Recommended.

I ordered the land multipro type 2 safety helmet for some of my sporting activities. Those include caving and kayaking.I was looking for a lightweight helmet and this one only weighs about one and a quarter pounds. I also wanted a helmet that would provide me with unvented full coverage. This is important for my caving activities where rocks or ceiling stalactites can poke you in the head.Another feature I really like about this helmet that is new to me is the magnetic chin buckle. You simply pull the chin strap across your neck to the other side and the magnet clicks into place securely. A thin pull rope with a bead on the end allows one to open the chin strap easily even when wearing heavy gloves.This is a classified safety helmet type 2 and cz89 and is OSHA compliant.The helmet is made from durable polypropylene and carries a 20,000 volt rating for electrical workers.This helmet has a twist knob on the back side that allows you to quickly size the helmet to fit your head perfectly. It also comes with a Snap-On accessory system allowing you to purchase from land visors, face Shields and other snap in accessories.The only thing I would really like to have seen in this helmet that they have in other land helmets that I own is the ability to clip in the land accessory light. That's just a small slot on the front of the helmet that could be added. I plan on adding my own accessory clip for my land headlamp.Overall you can never go wrong with a quality land helmet. They are known for their innovation quality and value. I recommend this helmet to anyone who needs a good quality safety protection helmet.

This is definitely a five star product. It is so well designed, and so easy to wear on the job site. I use this for my electrical work on new buildings. The safety ratings are what sold me on getting this helmet through the Vine Program here on Amazon. It is a serious upgrade from my last hard hat that I have been wearing for longer than I care to admit. This helmet is easily adjustable, even to my much smaller head size. The helmet is rated for class E work and it is rated up to 20,000 volts. It is OSHA compliant for the job site. The helmet isn't the vented type, but with that being said I feel there is plenty of ventilation just due to the advanced design. There is plenty of air space inside the helmet, and it has removable and washable sweatbands which is the feature I like the most.The Land MultiPro really delivers all day comfort on the job. The helmet is light, and completely adjustable with the nylon straps and the ratchet in the rear. It has a quick release feature on the chin strap, with its unique magnetic closure keeping it secure. The clasp is so easy to use, you won't even have to take off your gloves to work it. It is easy on my neck, and I have never felt it strained, or have any headaches. The helmet has side slots that are for Land accessories such as ear muffs (which I need now) face shields, and sun brims, and also I don't want to forget sun protection for your neck. It really is a nice design, that a lot of thought went into it. It is available on Amazon in 3 different colors, I chose the black. It is very lightweight at I think around 500 grams!! It looks exactly as it is pictured on Amazon, so I won't bore you with my amateur photography!! I feel the price is reasonable considering all the protection you get, and also the amazing features. I checked the price history and it has remained the same since May. I don't believe it has been available for a long time so that explains the short price history. if you need one for the job site, I would grab it. I know you won't be disappointed.
