I cant paint or do anything like that but this was very easy after you get it opened(very hard for older ppl) missed judged the amount I would need but my back little porch is looking good.

This water based stain and sealer was easy to use and worked great on my weathered wooden bench! Per the included instructions I first sanded down the bench (sandpaper not included) to remove dirt and prep the wood for staining. Then after wiping down the bench to remove any dust from sanding I stirred the mixture first using the supplied paint stick then using the supplied brush I applied the stain. The stain itself was easy to mix and apply - not too thick or too thin and it soaked nicely into the wood, not only sealing it but providing a beautiful color to the bench. I only applied one coat. Its durability will be known better after a few months. I really appreciate the accessories that came with the stain; the paint stick, brush and roller. Since it’s water based cleanup with soap and water was easy. While this bench is outdoors under a covered deck it’s still exposed to the weather but now it will be protected against water and UV rays and looking really beautiful !

Even with the rapid drying that is advertised, I waited for a forecast for "no rain" for a 48 hour period to use this satin/sealer. I have a small screened in on 2 sides deck 10 x 10 with walls on the other 2 sides. I also have privacy plywood half way up one of the screened sides. The deck does get rain on it when there is a storm from the west. This deck has probably not been treated in 20 years. I began with the boards that were closest to the open screened side. I did six boards initially since they got wet the most. I put a single coat on them and have applied a 2nd and 3rd coat to the 3 closest to the screen. It looks beautiful and provides a really good color and seal. I will put a 2nd coat on the remaining floor boards. It is very easy to prepare for and to apply the sealant. It does dry rapidly and leaves a very pretty finish. Based on my plan and usage the 64 oz. bucket I got should do the job of providing adequate coverage. Very timely, it did rain. And the rain that reached the deck did bead up as it is described to do thus, doing the job it's job effectively. This will protect the wood flooring for a long time avoiding replacing the deck flooring at a much more expensive price. The value for the price is going to pay for itself very easily.
