My finished product doesn’t look ideal, but I had a lot working against me. My camp just has old storm windows. I tried screen and spline, but the tracks for the spline were distorted from age and wear. Some sections were snug, others were loose. Also, it was framed so that the window couldn’t be removed. So, I saw this product, and wanted to try it as an alternative. It’s not exactly what it was meant for, but it works okay. If you had decent windows, this would have been fairly easy to install. It feels fairly durable when it’s together. In my situation, I just move the window up and down like I always have. If you use the product as intended and want to open it, you twist a little know and lift it. It’s pretty easy to use. I can already tell that over time, if you open and close it a lot, you’ll wish that little knob was bigger and stuck out more. For me, the price is very reasonable, and the quality is decent.

Like most RVs, mine has a rear window made as an emergency exit. It opens but does not have a screen to keep the bugs out. It's oddly shaped and with round corners and a handle that is behind where the screen needs to go.
