Latch was easy to install and is pretty much the right size for the deck door that I attached it to (door is 48” wide x 53” high). It has stood up to the rust test so far. Hope it remains durability because it’s being used outside. It does not latch tightly, the door is floppy because the pin can pivot. The pin itself and the placement of the plates can be tricky. When I lined them up across the door and jam, (I put the pin on the jam and the receiver on the door) the pin did not travel far enough to unlatch. I had to lower the door piece. No big deal, it’s an under deck access door. But, it may function better on a sliding door.

This was easy to install and works as expected. It feels plenty solid for my needs, looks much nicer than a hook and loop and the locking mechanism is more effective.Recommended if you need a door lock for a bedroom or home office.

I just need to keep the wind from blowing my shed doors open, the old latch wasn’t cutting it and neither were bungee cords. This little loop lock works like a champ across an obstacle course of protruding trim, old hardware, and misaligned doors that are over 100 years old. It has held the doors steady during the last two big storms we’ve had. Installation was simple (you just need a drill for some pilot holes) and screws are included.

This is a good-quality lock that works exactly as expected. The construction feels sturdy, and once installed it provides a secure latch without any issues. One of the standout features is the rotating loop bar, which allows for 90° or 180° installation depending on your setup. That makes it much more versatile than a standard latch, especially for doors or gates that aren’t perfectly aligned. It can be mounted in multiple orientations, making it useful for a variety of projects. The hardware feels durable, and the stainless steel components should hold up well over time both indoors and outdoors. Everything needed for installation, including the mounting screws, is included.Overall, this is a simple, reliable lock that’s well made and offers plenty of installation flexibility.Pros• Sturdy, durable construction• Works exactly as expected• 90° and 180° mounting options• Rotating loop accommodates uneven surfaces• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use• Includes mounting screws• Good quality for the priceCons• None so far

Alright, if you’re looking for a quick and simple way to keep a patio door shut or a garden gate from blowing open, this INIRET Sliding Door Loop Lock will do the trick. The multi-angle swing (90 to 180 degrees) is actually pretty slick and makes mounting it in tight corners or flush doors a breeze. Installation is as straightforward as it gets—just a few wood screws and you're set. That being said, let's talk shop about the build quality. Holding it in your hand, the metal and overall construction just don't feel incredibly sturdy or heavy-duty. It’s perfect as a basic, low-key closing mechanism to keep kids or pets from sliding a door open, but I definitely wouldn't rely on this for high-security areas or locking up expensive tools in a shed. It’ll get the job done for the everyday stuff, but keep your expectations realistic on the strength front.

I installed this on my bathroom door, and it's worked exactly the way I hoped. It was easy to install, feels solid once it's mounted, and gives a little extra privacy when it's locked.I also like that it works with different mounting angles, so it should fit a variety of doors. It's a simple upgrade, but it's made a bigger difference than I expected.
