Sturdy, Secure, and Perfect for Home Secure Storage.Sturdy, Secure, and Perfect for Home Secure S...

Though this is designed and labeled for system record documents, I'm using it at home for medication storage, and it fits the job perfectly. The enclosure itself is sturdy, well-built metal — no flimsy panels or thin material that make you second-guess whether it'll actually protect what's inside.Wall mounting was easy and straightforward, with clear hole placement and all the hardware needed included. The cabinet has 6 mounting points, you can trust that it will stay securely wherever you mount it. The lock and key mechanism feels genuinely secure, not just a token latch — it turns smoothly but locks with real resistance, giving actual peace of mind for something meant to keep medications out of the wrong hands. The key won't come out unless the lock is in the locked position. The included binder will be used to keep an inventory of high value items in the home for insurance purposes.Given my background working in pharmacy, I know how important secure, controlled storage is, and this box delivers well beyond its stated purpose. Honestly, the use cases go far beyond medication too — this would work just as well for cash, valuables, important documents, or even guns and ammo, anything you want locked up and out of reach in your own home. Maybe the labeling as System Record Documents makes a good cover for what's actually in there?Solid buy — recommend, whatever you end up locking away in it.

Well constructed cabinet at a fair price.Well constructed cabinet at a fair price.

So - I have no idea what "System Record Documents" are, or why you'd want to lock them in a bright red cabinet. My use-case is very different.I'm using this cabinet, attached to the wall in my master bedroom closet, as a pistol cabinet. I think there are two ways to make something secure - strong physical protection and psychological security. I don't image anyone is going to try to break into a cabinet that says "System Record Documents," and the simple lock on the cabinet is enough to keep my 3 and 6 year old grandsons from getting their hands on it. It will still be readily available to me though.I bought some self adhesive foam padding im going use to line the inside, and I'm considering using the "holster mount," from the maker of my carry holster to secure it to the door where it will be protected but still easy to access. My SIG P365XL is light enough that I don't think it will affect the hinges. But - if you DO have System Record Documents I'm sure this box will be good. It's roomy, seems solidly constructed, and has a smoothly operating lock (after 2 drops of thin oil). The cabinet seems very fairly priced to me but YMMV.

Great for keeping records when planning my renovation; organizing equipment record keeping

this will be my binder for all that will be involved for a small home renovation I am planning to enclose a screened side porch to make it a part of the house-and install new water heater- some records it will store will be relevant to planning renovation and county permits and such , I am mounting it now on the screened side porch in in what will become the storage section containing tools , Weed trimmer, lawnmower and other outside items.

A Good Way to Keep Important Papers Together

I like having important paperwork in one designated place instead of tucked into drawers and folders all over the house. This is sturdy and gives you the added security of a keyed door, which is especially useful for records you don't necessarily want everyone having access to. The included binder is a nice touch and helps keep everything organized inside instead of just having a locked box full of loose papers. The bright red color also makes it very easy to spot quickly when you need it.
