This pendant light has a nice, simple design that works well over a kitchen island or dining area. I like the clear glass shade because it keeps the look light and open instead of making the space feel heavy. The metal details give it a little character, and the overall style can work with modern, farmhouse, or transitional decor. It also gives you the option to change the look depending on the bulb you use.Overall, it’s an attractive light fixture that adds style without being too overpowering.

Aloha. This pendant light took me some time to install, mostly because I am still renovating my home and had to get everything ready before putting it up. Once I finally installed it though, WOW! Bruh, this light is absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen. The large clear glass shade looks super nice, and the wood touch is awesome, and it's looks really good. Instead of making it look like just another cheapo looking metal and glass fixture. And this sucker is over 9 inches, the shade is also a awesome in size. It's a nice size that you actually notice it, especially over a kitchen island or counter. The adjustable hanging height is another plus. That gave me flexibility while figuring out the final layout of my kitchen, and once everything was set, the installation itself was pretty straightforward. My main concern is certification. The listing says it uses UL-listed components, but I could not confirm that the complete fixture itself is UL or ETL certified. For something permanently hardwired into my home, I would prefer clear certification for the entire fixture. The other thing I think about living here in Hawaiʻi is earthquakes. This is a fairly large hanging glass shade, so if we get one decent earthquake, this sucker is going to swing. I made sure my ceiling mounting was solid, and I would recommend paying attention to that with any larger hanging glass fixture.Other than those two concerns, I really like this light. The glass looks beautiful, the wood detail gives it character, and it completely changed the appearance of my kitchen.I actually planned on buying two more because I like it that much. If the complete fixture had clear UL or ETL certification, I would have a lot more peace of mind doing that. Especially because it's a light fixture.Beautiful light overall. Once you install it and step back, you just look at it and go, yeah, that looks good!!!Mahalos!

This pendant pairs a thick, clear hand-blown glass shade with a curved dark-wood accent and black hardware. The cord adjusts from 13 to 72 inches, providing flexibility for standard, sloped, or taller ceilings. Because the bulb remains fully visible, its size and style significantly affect the finished appearance.ProsSubstantial glass with attractive handcrafted variationsWood accent adds warmth to the minimalist designGenerous height adjustmentStandard E26 socketHardware, wire connectors, and adjustment wrench includedCompatible with dimmable bulbs when used with a compatible dimmerConsBulb and dimmer are not includedThe 7.5-inch version may look smaller than listing photos suggestClear glass exposes glare, dust, fingerprints, and the entire bulbAn elongated decorative bulb may look more proportional than a standard A19The listing does not state that the complete fixture is UL- or ETL-certifiedHardwired installation requires appropriate electrical knowledgeBottom line: A well-proportioned accent pendant for buyers comfortable selecting a visible decorative bulb, but confirm its dimensions and certification requirements before installation.

.The glass is wonderfully crafted. That's the first thing I notice, and it's the part of this pendant that gives the entire fixture its personality. At 9.25 inches, the shade has enough size to demand some attention. The clear glass catches reflections from the room and the bulb, creating constantly changing highlights as I move around it.The hand blown character is apparent in the glass. It isn't trying to look like a perfectly molded piece of plastic pretending to be glass, and the subtle variations add to the visual interest. The bentwood handle brings warmth to the design and provides an interesting contrast against the clear shade. Wood and glass work beautifully together here.I also appreciate being able to choose the bulb as part of the look. With clear glass, the bulb becomes a major element of the fixture rather than something hidden behind a shade. The adjustable hanging height gives me considerable freedom in deciding where to use it. I can bring it down over a surface or keep it relatively close to a lower ceiling. This is one of those fixtures where the photographs give the general idea, but the glass is considerably more impressive in person.Wonderfully crafted glass and a beautiful combination of materials. The glass makes it.

This pendant light is perfect. I’m hanging it in my parlor to light up a little reading nook. I love decorating in a Victorian transitional look and this fits the bill. It has a pretty curve with a more industrial finish that is stunning contrast between the two styles. I really don’t want to install a new box forthe electric, so I’m probably going to convert the light to a plug and hang it from a ceiling hook-that way if I want to move it later it will be easy. The material is very good quality, the glass is extremely thick as well as the curved “handle” on it. The finish on the handle is well done with no imperfections and a beautiful color. The cord is very thick-it’s not flimsy at all, it is thick to support the weight of the lamp. I haven’t been able to get electricity yet to check a bulb, but the socket looks well made and not low quality. This pendant is definitely worth the price.

This is a beautiful hanging pendant, but it primarily uses a glass shade and has an adjustable hanging height from 13 inches to 72 inches, depending on the height of your ceiling. It has one E26 base socket with a maximum permissible wattage of 60 W. The manufacturer, of course, is talking about incandescent lights and the heat they produce. In most situations, you would not want to put 60 W of LED light in the light fixture itself; if you did, you would definitely need a dimmer switch to work with this light. Because it’s a clear glass shade. I would recommend that you get what’s called an Edison-type lightbulb, which emulates the type of bulb Thomas Edison was working on, where it’s clear last week and, literally, look in and see the elements inside today. We don’t use tungsten elements; we use LEDs that can be made to look like tungsten elements, as in these Edison-type lightbulbs with clear glass. Also, because of the length of this, you may want to get a longer, extended-shape lightbulb, possibly one that is not shaped like a regular lightbulb but is a little longer and maybe wider at the bottom.Installation is not difficult, but the first thing you should do when undertaking any electrical installation is to make sure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker control panel box. The circuit breaker control panel box is usually located in the basement of most homes. In some homes, the circuit breaker control panel boxes are located in the garage, particularly if the home does not have a basement.Once you believe you’ve turned off the power of the circuit breaker control panel box level, you should go to the junction box that you’re gonna be working on in the ceiling, probably over the kitchen island, and test every wire in that junction box to make certain that none of the wires are still energized using an electrical testing device or voltage meter to do this. This fixture comes with an installation plate and canopy. First, determine the height you’re going to hang this over your kitchen island. Adjust the length of the hanging pendant to the correct height you want, then walk it in at the canopy level. Next, remove the installation plate from the canopy. The installation plate is secured to the canopy with either two screws, one on each side of the canopy, or two decorative nuts on the front of the canopy. Remove the installation plate and door bracket, and take the wires that you’ve not determined to be safe to handle and put them through the center hole of the installation plate or around one of the sizes of the bracket, and then secure the plate and bracket firmly into the junction box using the two number eight machine screws supply.Next, apply the wire lock nuts to the three wires from the house service side, using the three wires shown in the picture. The fixture has matching wires to the black, white, and green wires of the house service, so they’re connected with wire lock nuts. The proper way to use a wire lock nut is to take this for example, the black wire from the house service side now you passed it through the center hole the install plate or under the bracket and make sure in the last half centimeter of that wires have the insulation removed but the tips of that wire adjacent to the tip of the black wire from the fixture cover both tips with a wire lock nut and twisted clockwise into a firm, mechanical and electrical connection has been established. Do the same thing with the white wire and the green wire, which is probably connecting to a bare piece of copper wire coming from the fixture.Once you accomplish this, you can take the canopy, connect it to the install bracket, and slot it over the two screws that extend from the plate, or replace the two screws on the side of the canopy with the wings of the bracket, and/or install the plate. Once you’ve done this, the next step is to shade the holder from the E26 socket. The shade should be hanging already on the E26 socket above it with a wire tube that holds it in place, but to get it in the correct position, you should remove the wire from the shade holder and tighten it fully against the shade to make certain that the shade is in the correct position, hanging on the hanging pendant. Finally installed the lightbulb. And now you can turn the power on at the circuit breaker and the local power switch (or, if you acquired one, a switch), and test the operation of your new beautiful pendant over your kitchen island.

I discovered this pendant light for my kitchen island and it's become one of those pieces I find myself really appreciating for what it brings to my kitchen. This shade is made of hand-blown glass and it has a warm, soft quality that standard lamps sometmes don't have. I use mine with Edison bulbs and dimmer lights. (The bulbs are not included with this lamp, by the way.)The adjustability is a major plus. I was able to tweak to the perfect height for my ceiling without any guesswork or extra purchases. Installation took maybe twenty contractor minutes with the included hardware.I'm a fan of the minimalist Scandinavian style/approach and the natural wood and clear glass in this lamp don't fight with anything else I have going on - it just fits. If you're more into boho or farmhouse style - I think it would work well there as well. One caveat, measure your space against the product specs - don't just check out the photos. I found them to be a little misleading with the actual lamp feeling smaller than they are in the photos. My fault for not checking that - and I still really like the lamp...but, you might want to drag out the measuring tape to be sure of the size your are getting - and the space it take (and occupy). For the price point, you're getting solid craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Very recommended.

This light is well made and beautiful. I love the pattern it casts on the ceiling. I included pictures of the installation process. The wire is over 5 feet and could be tucked inside most electrical boxes, but I knew that I would never need that much length, so I cut it shorter and stripped the wires. There is an Allen bolt that holds the wire in place, and the wrench is included in the parts bag along with the wire nuts and mounting bolts. With the longer wire this would be great for really tall ceilings where you might want the light to hang lower. Or as I mentioned it can be cut to the appropriate size. It makes for a very elegant appearance.
