I picked up this light to highlight a framed piece of artwork in my dining room, and overall, I’m really happy with how it looks and performs.Here is what works well and a quick heads-up on setup:What I Loved:No Hardwiring Required: The plug-in design saves you from needing an electrician or tearing open drywall. It was super easy to set up right out of the box, though you will need to figure out a clever way to route or hide the cord depending on where your outlet is located.Versatile Controls: Having both the inline cord buttons and a full-featured remote control is super convenient. Setting the built-in timer for evening ambiance works flawlessly without needing to get up.Customizable Lighting: The dimmable brightness and adjustable color temperature let you dial in the exact warm, neutral, or cool glow that best flatters your artwork.Things to Keep in Mind:Minor Alignment Quirks: The build quality is very solid, but out of the box, the light bar sat ever-so-slightly off-center relative to the main mounting arm. Because the metal is sturdy, it took a little bit of force to tweak it straight.Warm Mode Tone: If you're looking for an ultra-deep, vintage warm glow like old incandescent picture lights, the warmest setting on these LEDs is a bit more neutral, though still soft and non-glaring.It’s a huge upgrade over battery-powered options that require constant recharging, and it makes artwork look far more expensive and polished for a very reasonable price.

This really is a high-quality lighting option… especially with the adjustable warmth, but it did arrive slightly off-center.We hung this 16-inch gold light over a 22-inch wide framed picture, and the visual payoff for the price is fantastic. The build quality feels very sturdy and well-made. The hardware box came with absolutely everything needed to mount it to the wall. The only actual "assembly" required was plugging it into the wall outlet. It was incredibly easy to hang up right out of the box. The absolute best part of this light is being able to adjust the warmth of the LEDs. This allowed us to perfectly match the color temperature to the specific tones of our photo. The timer control function on the remote works flawlessly and is super convenient for evening ambiance.The reason I had to give it 4 stars… I hated to take one away bc it’s so beautiful… BUT we did run into one manufacturing hiccup… no matter how we swiveled or adjusted the joints, the light bar sat slightly off-center relative to the main mounting pole. And I mean very slightly. But I’m very attentive to things like that. They tend to bother me more than the normal person. My husband ultimately had to grab a pair of pliers to forcefully tweak the metal into proper alignment. It was tough to bend because the unit is so solidly built. I suspect this might just be a one-off defect with our specific unit rather than a widespread assembly issue, but it is worth noting if yours arrives looking a bit lopsided.Aside from that minor alignment challenge, it looks absolutely beautiful on the wall. If you want a robust, feature-rich picture light that elevates your artwork without breaking the bank, this is a stellar choice. I cannot speak on the battery life… we only use it with direct power. I can only assume if it is on par with the rest of the features then it is great. *Pardon the large bow in the pic… it was temporarily in place for an event we had to decorate for.

It’s an excellent plug in LED light. I really like the way it comes with a remote in addition to the one connected to the cord as well. Very convenient. Super easy to install. I screwed it into the back of my painting on the frame. Much easier for me instead of make a hole in my wall. It’s lightweight too. My only complaint would be that I wished the “warm light mode” would be even warmer. I replaced this light with one I had that had those halogen bulbs but they got very hot and were a pain to change out when they would burn out. That one had a more “warmer” feel to it. Just my personal preference. Other than that. It’s a great light for the money. Other more expensive ones were not in my budget. So get this one if you are on a budget!

It looks gorgeous on my paintings. I choose the similar color of frame. I got lots of compliment, but painting looks vibrant with this light.
