I am remodeling a cabin and am now at the point of one of my most dreaded tasks, mudding and taping. Thankfully I'm only doing a bathroom (rest is T&G pine). Anywho, this set is super nice! It really appears to be professional quality. It has just about everything you need and comes in a quality case. It has varying size blades/skimmers and telescoping poles to make it a very versatile set able to handle multiple projects. Everything is nice and straight and allows for smooth application and finishing. I had a friend who is in construction over the other day and he saw the kit and was jealous. When I told him how much it was, he said it was a crazy good value and immediately ordered one for himself.

This mud tool kit is very high quality. I like the wide grips on each tool to make it easier to handle and control the movement, creating a more smooth uniform finish. The blades have just enogh give to them to allow for that smoother finish. The extension pole adds about 7 ft making an easy reach for most situations. The mount on the pole slides over the wide grip on each tool and fits very snug. The locking clamps could be a little better, (tighter), but still holds well. This kit has a very nice storage case with 4 latches to hold it securely closed. However, the mounting block that holds the tools must be taken apart in order to fit it inside the case. This piece has an angle adjustment that would always be together in order to use it. I don't see the need to disasemble something that doesn't need to be disasembled. If the case was slightly larger it would all fit.

These are truly a GREAT value compared to the prices charged by some of the bigger names out there; and the quality is just as good or better!I own a LOT of Level 5 drywall tools. They’re great, but I always feel like I’m overpaying for what you get. Finally Kezers has offered a quality product for a fair price! I can get this entire kit PLUS the carry case for the price of one single piece from the other companies. These blades feel great to work with. They’re comfortable and easy to grip, the blades have the perfect amount of flex to them to feather the mud out, everything appears very well made, durable and perfectly designed. They give you everything you need plus a handle with an adjustable angle head for tall work. They are easy to clean, lightweight so as to avoid fatigue and perfect for skimming over and smoothing an orange peel texture ceiling or finishing new board should you decide you prefer these blades over the traditional ones. I’m going to give these a try from start to finish on miffing my basement drywall because they are very comfortable to use. Basically, I couldn’t be happier than I am with these. They’re a great product at a great price.

As an amateur DIYer, this drywall skimming blade set is fantastic! Having a complete set with all the essential sizes (7", 10", 14", 16", and 24") made taking on my project much less intimidating. The blades give a smooth, even finish, and the extendable handle pole (reaching up to 81") makes reaching higher spots on walls and ceilings super easy without needing to constantly climb up and down a ladder. Having everything neatly stored in the portable case is a huge bonus to keep all the pieces organized. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get professional-looking results on their home drywall projects!

I haven't had a chance to use these yet, and it could be a while before I do since I don't skim coat drywall very often. So I'm just leaving this review based on what I observed in unpacking and checking out the tools. They seem very well-made and feel very sturdy. The actual metal blade parts are very easy to change. You just unscrew a thumb screw on the one side and pop the cover off and then the whole blade slides out. I haven't looked to see if new blades are available, but I don't see why they would need changed for a very long time unless somebody did this full-time. I always did skim coating with a regular joint knife, but I can't cover a big area at once since it flexes so much. The way these are designed, I should be able to skim coat a pretty wide area since the rigid plastic part keeps the blade from flexing too much. This also came with an attachment that slides onto the handles, and then a long telescoping handle that can be attached to it. Where the telescoping pole attaches to the handle can be adjusted to various angles to suit your needs. This would allow to reach ceilings without getting on a ladder, or doing really tall walls without having to be on a ladder. Everything seems to be built really well and it comes in a really nice case with quality latches.

This drywall skimming blade set includes a practical range of blade sizes that cover everything from small patches to wide skim coats. The stainless steel blades slide smoothly across the surface, and the assortment of 7", 10", 14", 16", and 24" blades makes it easy to choose the right size for different areas. The extension pole is helpful for ceilings and high walls, reducing the need to work from a ladder as often. The blades mount securely and clean up easily after use. The included carrying case keeps everything organized and protects the blades during storage and transport. The aluminum blade holders feel lightweight without being cumbersome during extended use. This is a well-rounded kit for anyone tackling drywall finishing or skim coating. It includes the most commonly used blade sizes, an extension handle, and a storage case, making it convenient to keep everything together for the next project.

I knew it was only a matter of time before this style of drywall finishing tool started showing up from lower-priced competing brands, hopefully while staying within patent laws.I already own a 36-inch LEVEL5 skimming blade and a 24-inch Marshalltown, so I had quality tools available for comparison. The pole adapters used by LEVEL5 and Marshalltown are not interchangeable, and although I have not tested this set with either system, I would be very surprised if they were compatible. Plan on using the included blades, adapter, and pole as their own system. As far as actual blade performance goes, I cannot see a meaningful difference. I have never noticed much difference between my Marshalltown and LEVEL5 blades, and this set performs much the same. Comparing the included 24-inch blade directly with my 24-inch Marshalltown, I cannot see a noticeable difference in how it moves compound or finishes the surface. The storage case is more valuable than it may first appear. My 24-inch Marshalltown and 36-inch LEVEL5 are stored loose, and I have to be very careful with them. They have blade covers, but those only provide limited protection. A skimming blade dropped on a corner can easily be bent, and once that thin edge is damaged, the blade may be done. This fitted case protects the blades far better during storage and transport. For the money, this set delivers performance surprisingly close to the more expensive professional brands while including five useful blade sizes, an extension pole, adapter, and a case that genuinely adds value.
