The good news is this whole tool with the support hand ball and ergonomic feeling grip feels good. The blade area and blade is made of metal, and is pretty thick so should last a good amount of time. The only thing I kinda disliked, especially at an almost $20 pricepoint is it does not come with any extra blades. While the one on there feels like it'll last good, it's kind of like one of those things you like to have one blade that gets all messed up and stuff stuck to it to use for dirty things, but, you might do one project where you want to start with a clean blade. This isn't the type of blade you use to clean glass though, it's a thick, hard scraper.

I ended up getting this for a few little projects around the house, where I needed something more serious than a basic plastic scraper, and honestly it’s been kind of surprisingly impressive how well it works. It’s compact, but it still has enough scraping oomph to deal with some stubborn buildup, even when that stuff really doesn’t want to move.The tungsten carbide blade is really the standout, like for real. It works nicely on dried paint, dried glue, sticky residue, and all that grime that sits there acting like it pays rent. I don’t have to stay in one spot for ages, and that alone feels like a win. I’ve mostly used it on areas where the mess has dried into this almost “impossible-to-remove” layer, and with a regular scraper I’d just keep going nowhere.I also like the 2.5 inch width quite a bit. It’s broad enough to hit a decent section without taking forever, but it’s still small enough for tight corners, or for that more detailed, careful sort of work. It doesn’t feel like I’m using some oversized gadget on a tiny problem, which, yeah, I appreciate more than I expected to.The ergonomic handle is another solid piece. Scraping sometimes takes real pressure, so having something comfortable to hold makes a difference. I can grab it firmly without my hand getting irritated right away, or even after only a minute or so.I’ve tried it on multiple surfaces too, like wood, glass, and metal. It’s one of those tools where I didn’t think I needed it until I owned it… and then somehow I kept spotting little jobs where it’s the right answer. Like the annoying stuff that’s stuck on “just enough” to be a pain.And it’s small enough to toss into a toolbox, or a utility drawer, without eating up space. That helps because it isn’t really a daily use item, but when you suddenly need a dependable scraper, having it there saves a ton of stress.Overall, I’m pretty happy with this scraper. It feels sturdy, comfortable in the hand, and it handles stuck-on residue and buildup really well. If you’re doing DIY work, painting, home repairs, or you just need something for those frustrating messes that cling on forever, this is a handy tool worth keeping around.

Overall this is excellent however I must reduce the rating to 4/5 due to the lack of a safety cover because this scraper is extremely sharp, and it is huge. It just needs a safety cover for when the blade isn’t in use.

If you're looking for a scraper that's only designed to give you maximum downward force, then this is a reasonably good option. It's extremely durable and rigid, and it's ergonomically comfortable for all day use. However, I wouldn't say it's particularly versatile - when I'm scraping paint or other material, I usually prefer a flat lateral bladed tool that scrapes horizontally into the material - this downward scraping action doesn't seem particularly effective. I assume for glue, adhesive, or resin this might be far more effective. The blade isn't particularly sharp, so - although you'll want to wear gloves and eye protection doing this sort of work - danger of injuring yourself or others seems minimal.It's a fairly good value for an ergonomically-friendly tool, just keep in mind the limitations to how it can or can't be used.

This is a great little scraper. The blade is super sharp and the handle is really comfortable to use. The extra added ball grip is especially nice to give your other hand a spot to grab for added leverage and power.This tool has a wide range of applications and is very versatile. Whether you're removing paint, rust, wallpaper, glaze, caulk, or leftover remnants of sticky adhesive this scraper performs great.Overall this is a great little tool to have and really comes in handy. It's an excellent value for your money. Definitely recommended.

I spent hours last summer painting my front and side porch. It's now peeling and looks bad. I need to start completely over with a fresh, clean surface. That's going to involve scraping off all of the old paint. This is just what i needed to get the job done. It's perfect. The blade is super sharp. It is efficient at paint removal on concrete. The best part is the handle. Others scrapers I have used just have a straight handle. This one is contoured for comfort and has a knob for two handed use. This allows for greater traction which makes removal of pain even easier. The weight is good. Heavy enough to do the job. Light enough to not contribute to hand fatigue. It's a great tool to have in your box. Do recommend.

This thing literally makes life so much more comfortable when flipping furniture! Before I had this, I was using a very old sharpened putty knife that was covered in rust- ya not ideal. I flip furniture and had been using that to strip peeling paint. It worked- kinda, but this was an unbelievable upgrade and I feel like it’s saving me so much time! And wrist pain. The scraper is so much bigger, wider, longer and ergonomic than that old metal one. It is comfortable to hold and very easy to grip tightly. The head of the scraper has a nice angle to it. I’m a huge fan of that in particular. You can put a lot of downward torque on this thing with the knob and it doesn’t give an inch. I have only gone through one blade so far and they seem like they’re holding up really well even to vigorous use, I’ll need to pick up a few more as it only came with one. I used this first on a cabinet door to a kitchen set and it took off the old peeling varnish after I added stripping agent like a champion. This has claimed a permanent spot in my tool chest of gadgets. I love the grips on this tool as well. It has some good nonslip areas that make holding it and using it a lot more comfortable than a plastic handle putty knife, go figure right? I typically use a pair of high strength rubber gloves just because I’m working with chemicals and that turns out to be a smart idea working with this tool. It’s sharp and one slip can be the removal of a nail. Overall, very pleased with this product and how easy it is to use. There are so many applications that you could throw at this thing and I think it would handle them no problem. Highly recommend for furniture flipping, restoration, repainting- or a whole host of other things!
