This is a pretty straightforward product. It is supposed to be a heavy duty piece of metal that reinforces a damaged or leaning fence post, and that is exactly what it is. The metal is thick, sturdy, and feels like it should provide plenty of support once installed.The black coating looks good and should provide some protection from the weather. The shape also gives you a good amount of metal both in the ground and against the wood post, so once secured it feels solid and the stability is nice.My biggest complaint is the included screws. They are junk. The repair brackets themselves feel heavy duty, so it is disappointing that they paired them with hardware that does not feel like it belongs with the rest of the product. I would recommend using your own quality exterior rated structural screws. Its hard to make your fence stable when the screws strip and cant get tight.At around $28 for two, I think the brackets themselves are a decent value. Include better hardware and this would easily be a 5 star product.4 stars. Heavy duty, sturdy, and does what it is supposed to do, but plan on using better screws.

These will hold up well outside. The Midwest storms are brutal on the average fence and this will make things better for the struggling fence.

I had a couple of fence posts that had rotted at the base and were starting to lean pretty badly. Replacing them the traditional way meant digging out old concrete and resetting posts, which I did not have time for. These ITeeLas repair anchors handled it without any of that. You connect the two pieces, hammer the anchor into the ground next to the post, then drive four screws through the pre-drilled holes into the wood. Both posts are solid again and have not moved since.The powder-coated galvanized steel feels like it will hold up outdoors long term and the hardware included covers everything you need. At 31.6 inches tall with 15.8 inches going into the ground, there is plenty of depth to get a stable hold. If you have a leaning or rotted wood fence post and do not want to do a full replacement, this kit is a genuinely smart fix.

I have a pressure treated fence across the back of my property, probably 150’. It’s been there for over 25 years. On occasion, and lately, more frequently, an end-post will pop out, and putting it back is a chore. I’ve noticed other posts losing their upright strength.These supports, while not particularly easy to install, have helped to reseat and firm up my fence, especially the end posts. You can use more than one per post. I can’t get one for each post, but I don’t think that’s needed, as long as you secure any that are loose.Finally, I plan to put up a Picket fence out front, and I will definitely use these supports when I do.
