This turned into such a fun purchase. We originally got it so we could celebrate the different birthdays throughout our family, but the real motivation was wanting a cute photo backdrop for my grandson's first birthday. Now I have a feeling this is going to become a little family tradition, pulling the sign out for whoever's birthday it happens to be, which is monthly!This is definitely a more modern take on neon rather than the old style with the visible tubes and the gentle buzzing sound you might be used to. It is mounted on a solid plastic backing and feels very sturdy, though it does not have that old school fluorescent glow to it.Whatever technology they are using here looks fantastic, bright and vivid without losing any of the charm. Such a fun, cute addition to any birthday celebration. Great value for the money. Five stars.

I picked up this LED neon sign recently to decorate for my friend Jonathan's 40th birthday party, and it was an absolute hit. The 16x9.6 inch size is perfect—not overwhelmingly large, but bold enough to stand out beautifully as a centerpiece above the dessert table. What to add a little something to your birthday party? Look no further than this neon sign. It looks great unlit (let’s call that the pre-party), thanks to the detail in the cake. However, when it’s time to kick the party into gear, turn it on & all will be amazed.This light is crazy bright! My photo of it on was taken in my kitchen at 3 pm, with plenty of light in the room. The power button, located halfway down the cord, also a dimmer buttons so that you can customize the brightness output to suit your gathering.This light kit comes with a variety of ways for you to hang the sign. There are wall anchors if you’re looking for a permanent location (like somewhere behind your bar), a removable adhesive hook, & a chain with 2 hooks.The birthday sign is usb-powered. However, if you want to use the sign in a spot where you can’t plug it in, a battery pack (minus the batteries) is included. You simply install 4 AA batteries & plug the usb cable into the battery pack & you’re good to go. The seller has really thought of everything!So, the only thing left to ask is when do we sing?!?

Super bright and cool looking birthday decoration! This is an excellent quality birthday sign it will definitely get noticed because it's a great size too. Plus, if it's too bright, this can be adjusted up or down to suit my preference and what my eyes can put up with. I think it's perfect for a table centerpiece however, it's designed to be hung up on a wall, or something like it because there is a hanging chain provided and there are little holes drilled into the plastic to put the chain hooks into and unfortunately, it doesn't come with a stand. I'm probably going to use a decorator plate stand to put it on and then my problem is solved. Keep in mind, it does require a USB to plug into for power, I'm going to use a portable power bank to solve that issue.

After opening the package I was impressed with versatility of how this Neon Sign could be used. There are several ways to mount it or display it. There are also 3 power options, plug the usb into a wall power block, plug into to an available usb powered usb port or use the supplied battery box that has a usb port built in. The battery box was the most interesting to me, since that opens up the option of using the sign at a rented park shelter that doesn't have power. The sign is quite bright, but it does have the option to dim it if needed. It seems to be well made and a good value at this price point. My Dad has his 90th birthday coming up this weekend and I'll be using it for that. Glad I got this and I'm looking forward to using it for family birthday's for many years to come.
