[Size Name: 16in x 10ft, Size Name: 16in x 10ft]
This is a high-quality, fairly rigid wire cloth that somewhat under-promised on width--with one finished edge and one raw edge, it is about 17" wide. This is really nice, it allowed me to fold and crimp that raw edge to exactly 16" which is what I needed to repair my small, antique window screen.Because the wire is (allegedly) rustproof, it can perform a whole variety of more demanding functions. It was not easy to work with, but that is ok, because it is sturdy. It does not deform with regular working motions, I can't dent it with my thumb. I think this roll is a great value for small to medium sized projects.

Good item

This is a good quality hardware cloth. It is of a good medium gauge which makes it nice and bendable but still sturdy. I used a piece of this to screen the inside of a dog carrier door to protect my chicks in their coop from a visiting skunk. Unfortunately the skunk got two of my chicks before I realized I needed to line the inside of it with this Hardware cloth. It worked perfectly and was very easy to cut with tin snips. It's a very versatile product which I can see having many, many uses on our farm. If I needed a bigger volume I'd more than likely go to the local farm store but this was a good amount to have on hand for uses such as the one detailed here. Good value for the money for a small amount. If you need a larger amount, I would look elsewhere.

Chicken wire is a versatile material, and I often use it as a base structure for sculptures that I later cover with epoxy clay, papier-mâché, or plaster gauze. The 1/8-inch mesh size is particularly useful for creating finer details and smoother forms than larger mesh options. The dimensions were accurate in my measurements. The grid openings are 1/8 inch, the roll is 16 inches wide, and the length is the advertised 10 feet. The wire is easy to shape and form, whether bending it by hand while wearing gloves or using needle-nose pliers for more precise adjustments. The overall quality is decent. There are some minor imperfections, the mesh is slightly wavy in places, I noticed a few spots with dirt or residue on the wire, and one edge was somewhat rough-cut. However, none of these issues affected its usefulness for my projects. As with any wire mesh product, safety is important. The cut edges can be sharp and may scratch or cut skin, so I recommend wearing gloves and eye protection while working with it.Overall, this is a good option for sculpture armatures, crafts, and other creative projects. The price seems reasonable, but if you expect to use a lot of it, the 50-foot roll offers a significantly better value.
