I ordered these ball casters for our 6 ft kitchen island. The aesthetic add charm and the overall function of these casters meets all of my expectations.These casters can hold 540lbs of weight. Our island is solid wood and weighs just about 500lbs. These casters hold up well at max capacity. We like that we can move the island for cleaning and with all locks engaged this doesn’t move at all. The locks can be secured by foot or hand.The hardest part of installing was tipping the island back over and I needed my husband’s help. We used a drill and one inch screws instead of the half inch provided because we had the depth too. I do suggest these be installed in hardwood. These will add two inches of height.

I absolutely love these 2 inch castor wheels. I love it that they’re an antique Bronze. There’s very smooth operation. They’re very durable to install. Took me 20 minutes as I needed to install them on Old vintage metal cabinet. They fit perfect these are very high-quality. You will not find these in the store. I absolutely love it that they have the locking mechanism. This was a great value. I couldn’t be more happier, very durable and they look gorgeous.

WHY didn't I get these Ainolet 2" Ball Caster Wheel Set (4 wheels total) sooner?!?!?FINALLY a wheel that can handle my 4 different pile heights of rugs (from low pile to shag) with ease (in the video, I do have to lift the couch slightly to get over one edge of an orange shag rug as I wasn't aware there was a doggie toy hiding there...).Previously, I had another brand of wheels (3 out of the 4 wheels broke within a few months), and they just couldn't handle the job. These Ainolet wheels are of sturdy quality, operate smoothly (it just takes me to move!), are a great value, a back saver, a cleaning assistant (now I can move the couch to easily vacuum that space, instead of just hoping I got everything (like dog toys) when barely fitting the vacuum under the couch), have an antique appearance which goes perfectly with my bohemian decor, and they lock! My dog loves to jump over the back of the couch to make a perfect landing on the couch. With the wheels locked, I don't have to worry about the couch moving during his Olympic performances.10 minutes to flip the couch on its side, install casters, flip it upright and move into place.
