This light has been a really great addition to our barn. Before we just had normal ceiling lights, no long ones like this and that made it difficult to see in certain places at night.This lights up the entirety of the 40x40 main floor area with ease. Heck it even lights up the feed and well rooms good enough to do quick tasks. I really wasn't expecting such illumination throughout the building from one light, so I was very pleased.It was extremely easy to install, you simply line up the stencil, drill the holes, secure the bracket, and snap the light in, took all of 15 minutes from start to finish. That time was including the wiring which was super simple, so color coated and easy to just connect and secure.I'm very happy with this light and wish I'd have gotten it 2 yrs ago when we bought the place, sure would have saved my eyes from staining, lol.

Garage and barn workshops with some exposure to elements need this kind of easy to wire and install light. The price is quite reasonable for vapor proof. Brightness is adjustable. No problems with reliability thus far; they seem to be high quality though not UL listed.

I’m an absolute dunce when it comes to this sort of thing so if I say it’s easy to install, it’s easy to install!The unpleasant dungeon that houses our laundry machines and tools etc was “lit” by hanging fluorescent lights that have been flickering and dimming for ages. That’s the level of dunce I am: I couldn’t figure out how to change the fluorescent bulbs, so I just… didn’t. I took this offer as a much-needed wake-up call.I sat in an armchair with the light and instructions so that I could be sure I understood what I was doing. My first real challenge was figuring out how to change the light color level and intensity. Where were these dang switches? I’m embarrassed to tell you how long it took me to understand that I needed to unclip the bottom of the housing from the top of the housing. Doh! Then I actually had to confirm with chatGPT that I was correct in thinking that copper went to green. Double doh.From there, it was simple. Power off; standing light extension-corded in so I could see what I was doing; cut the wiring to the existing fixture. Screw the mounting brackets in to the ceiling beam. Snap the fixture in (easy peasy—lots of forgiveness in the bracket placement). Literally shove the correct wires into each nut and screw it down. Let there be light!I honestly felt like an earthling being blinded by a spaceship. This incredibly bright light shines a pretty harsh perspective on the disorder of the Dungeon—which is a good thing because it will make me finally do something about it.What I WOULD like to see with this light is a remote, so that one can change the settings without getting back on a ladder and unclipping all those clips again. Once I get around to doing that, you can be sure I’ll make sure that the light color and intensity is exactly right, but a remote would definitely be nice.Overall, this is a great value for a quality, easy-to-install fixture. The Dungeon and the Dunce thank the manufacturers and designers.
