Put this up at our front stoop and it completely changed the look — the deer silhouette, the black metal, the wood accents, all of it just works together in a way that feels intentional and warm. In our new apartment, my wife and I have a small hallway leading to the door in the backyard. Unfortunately, there is very little light at night, and our only real option is to turn on the light from the adjacent bathroom or the extremely large drop ceiling lights that are simply too bright for at night particularly if one of us is still sleeping as the bedroom is also very close by.I decided to run a totally separate light and with the drop ceiling it was rather easy. I connected it to the existing switch which also controls the light outside in the yard over the door. I figured this was better than running a separate switch which meant holes on the wall or at least a lot more work to do that.Once that was in place we saw this very budget friendly light and we decided it was quaint enough to order and see how well it fit.To our surprise we loved the look of this light more in person.While the rustic finish is a bit unrealistic, it's still nice enough to look at. The fixture housing and base is decent enough quality for the price and overall works very well in its location.Flush mount is nice and neat and the depiction of the deer illuminated is very cool and we get a lot of comments on it from people who visit.This should not be, in my opinion, a main entrance light, but rather a light for a small area due to the brightness.For our application and purposes, it works extremely well and looks very cool.

This is a nice-looking light fixture and appears to be well made. One thing buyers should be aware of is that the mounting base is fixed and does not swivel, so it isn't suitable for sloped or vaulted ceilings. I mistakenly assumed "semi-flush mount" meant it could be installed on an angled ceiling, but that term actually refers only to how closely the fixture sits to the ceiling. If you have a standard flat ceiling, this shouldn't be an issue, but on a sloped ceiling the fixture will hang crooked. Outside of that, it is an attractive fixture and compliments any room.
