Works great

These came well packaged and protected from shipping damage. Its a nice set all around and everything looks and feels well made. The magnet hold is plenty strong enough and you can swap from one to another without and issues. I didn't use these for dust collection for reference. I used them in my smoke extraction setup for my lasers. Its so much easier to set the main board in the window and get it situated and then attach the hose end to it with a magnet. It makes it easy to swap between my lasers too. The seal is good enough that the smoke does not escape. These work great. I may order more for my fume extraction setup in my office for my 3d printers and UV printers too. Well worth the money in my shop.

Inchangability

Interchangeably. Able to move dust collection to another station.

Overall good product. Steel ring not bonded well enough.

Overall I am satisfied with the quality and the holding strength of the magnets. My only complaint is that the steel ring which the magnets attach to has become detached a number of times. The ring is attached with a black sticky substance that remains adhered to the steel ring but does not bond sufficiently to the plastic part. I solved this problem by re-attaching the rings with high-strength adhesives.

Impressed with the hold

I was skeptical the magnets would hold well enough not to have leaks. I’ve been pleasantly surprised to sit it hold, and hold well. Makes my dust collection much more organized (with fewer hoses).

Effortless Machine Changes and Strong, Airtight Seal

This magnetic dust collection fitting kit is a game-changing upgrade for a woodworking shop, making it incredibly fast and easy to swap a single 4-inch dust hose between multiple machines like a CNC router, table saw, or planer. The build quality of the couplers and the Mag Port connector feels rugged and high-end, built to withstand the daily bumps and drops of a busy shop environment. The magnets are remarkably strong, pulling the fittings together with a satisfying snap and holding them securely in place even under the heavy vibration of high-powered shop vacuums and machinery. The unreduced 4-inch design ensures maximum airflow and suction power, pulling fine dust and heavy wood chips efficiently without creating restrictive bottlenecks in the line. The seals are tight and flush, preventing any vacuum leaks and keeping the air and floor cleaner during long production runs. Setup is straightforward, allowing you to establish a highly organized, modular one-to-multi tool collection network. For the price, it’s a professional-grade system that offers outstanding value, saving massive amounts of time and frustration during machine changeovers.

Handy Upgrade for Moving a 4 Inch Dust Hose Around the Shop

This 2 pack magnetic dust collection fitting set makes switching a 4 inch hose between machines way faster than using regular plastic fittings or hose clamps every time. In a small woodworking setup with a table saw, planer, and router table sharing one dust collector hose, the magnets hold the connector in place well enough for quick changes without wrestling the hose loose.Compared with standard slip fit dust ports, this setup feels much more convenient because there is less twisting, tugging, and clamp tightening. Compared with pricier dedicated quick connect systems, the value is solid because the pack includes both the magnetic connectors and rubber couplers, so it is ready to adapt to common 4 inch dust collection hose setups.Pros:Fast hose changes between toolsMagnets line up easily and save timeRubber coupler helps with fitment on slightly different portsGood value compared with buying separate adapters and couplersUseful for small shops where one hose serves multiple machinesCons:Magnetic hold may not be strong enough if the hose is heavy or hanging at an angleFit can still depend on the exact dust port sizeNot as secure as a tightened hose clamp for permanent connectionsThe main criticism is that the magnets work best when the hose is supported and not pulling sideways. For a machine that gets moved around a lot, a clamp style connection may still be safer. For quick swaps on stationary tools, though, this set saves time and keeps the dust collection workflow much less annoying.

Works Perfect – Especially In Small Shops Where Tools Get Shifted AroundWorks Perfect – Especiall...

Qtpciy 4" Magnetic Dust Collection Starter Kit — Nice kit to get you started and this system works great. Super fast to jump a single hose from tool to tool. I’ve already been using this for a good while so I’m plenty familiar with using it. If you’ve not tried this yet it's well worth checking out. This kit is perfect for a test run as it gives just what's needed for one hose and two tools. For most 4" hose all that's needed is the magnetic fitting to slip inside the hose and then clamp in place with a hose clamp. The tools usually just get a single rubber coupling and two hose clamps to connect a steel ring fitting to each.A couple things to know… is allow enough hose to come straight up off the floor. If you try to stretch (or drape) it too far the weight can pull it loose but you're generally fine straight from the floor below. If your overhead try to hang it from directly over the tool connection to avoid the same issue. If needed a length of twine tied to the hose and hung from the tool, the ceiling or whatever is available resolves the problem. The second thing is that this is sold by several Amazon dealers. It mostly all interchanges with no problem but I’ve gotten a very few where the magnetic ring was just a tad too large for other suppliers steel ring fitting. In this case a quick run around the perimeter of the magnet fitting with a sander takes care of the problem and then they’ll work with any of them. The magnet side is a flat flange that's easy enough to sand a little whereas the steel ring side has a flange to fit into.. just know sanding the magnet side is the way.. no biggie.A nice small detail that sets this listing apart, is that they took the time to glue a key into each hose clamp to make a no tools needed thumb screw.. very nice. This is a great system, I like my set-up a lot. Especially in a small shop environment it makes it super easy to make adjustments, changes or just unhook all together to roll a tool outside.Easy 5-Stars.
