10 Sheet Zellige Look Peel and Stick Kitchen Backsplash

The worst part about this product is that the color is so off. The countertop is predominantly tan. You can see that the warm beige tile has a definite green cast to it, that’s not at all what I was expecting or wanted.Also, I was not happy with the adhesion. This could be strictly down to the fact that I have orange peel texture walls, so I won’t say it is 100% an issue with the adhesive. But if you have textured walls, this may not be the product for you.Installation is super simple. I adhered only one tile to the wall to see how it would go and for the others I just stuck them up with painters tape to see what the look would be. I didn’t cut a tile but from the texture and the weight, I think it would be very easy to trim it with scissors or a box cutter or similar tool.

Beautiful facelift for our apartment kitchen! It was so easy to trim and apply. And the texture looks very real! Quite happy with the end result!

I have the sage version of these tiles, which no longer appears to be available, and I absolutely love them. Instead of using them as a traditional backsplash, I used them to give an old coffee table a makeover.The table had quite a bit of staining and discoloration, and these tiles completely transformed it. They were easy to work with, adhered very well, and gave an old piece of furniture an entirely new look.One unexpected benefit is the texture. The surface has a really nice grip, so items don't slide around the tabletop easily. I can arrange plants and other decor without everything shifting around.This turned out to be one of my favorite DIY ideas. I liked the results so much that I used the same technique on an old entertainment stand that I repurposed into a plant stand.These are definitely worth thinking beyond the backsplash with. The sage color is beautiful, the adhesive has held well, and they're an excellent option for furniture makeovers and other creative DIY projects. They are thicker than traditional contact paper and even some of my other backsplash tiles so it makes for a nice topper.

These tiles are unique is several ways:* The appearance is irregular with lighter and darker areas, making them look more like the classic Zellige style handmade tiles than like common mass-produced tiles.* The adhesive backing is easier to work with than other peel and stick tiles. The adhesive holds the tile in place while placing it and still allows you to make adjustments, until you press it firmly into place.* These tiles feel and look thicker and more durable than similar tile sheets.* Despite the thickness, these tiles are easy to cut with standard scissors; not utility knife or exacto-knife needed.* Because the sheets of tiles are perfectly square, you can rotate each sheet so that your wall does not have a visible repeating pattern.* The product recommends slightly cutting the 'grout' edges of the sheets so that when the sheets are placed next to each other, the outer grout edges do not combine to make an extra thick looking grout line. I find that the grout edges are thin enough that even without trimming, the thicker grout edges do not really stand out. You may want to trim if your tiles will be abutting the bottom of a cabinet, because usually tiles are placed abutting cabinets and countertops without any grout in between. However, unless you are anticipating a visit from an expert tile inspector, I do not believe anyone will notice or care about a line of grout between the tiles and your abutting surfaces.* While the exterior coating is supposed to be waterproof and allow damp wiping, I am hoping that they will withstand heavy splashing as a much needed backsplash, as we often wash our small dog in our sink.

I love these tiles! They have a shiny elegant look to them. I love the versatility of them as I've used these type of tiles for bathroom accents, top of scratched and old looking desk, night stand and dresser, and even on the inside of a boring white bathroom vanity.These are great quality and value for a pack of 10 - 12x12 inch generous size tiles. You can also easily cut them to size to fit your space with a scissors.They are rather thick and have a shiny somewhat sticky polyurethane surface that makes it easy to wipe clean and is quite durable for splashes of water, food and heat. The tiles look real with the recessed look of grout.They are easy to install by simply peeling off the back and smoothing on to stick on the surface of your choice. There is also a front protective layer that I peel off after install because it's smoother - not tacky feeling - and easier to smooth onto surface.**The instructions do mention to use caution that if you don't have a back metal panel on your gas stove if using in that area, to place 12 inches above stovetop to avoid exposing tiles to flames.

This peel-and-stick tile was very easy to install. I used ordinary kitchen scissors to cut the sheets and had no trouble getting the exact shapes I needed around an outlet.I ordered the green color, and it looks very similar to the listing photo. I was also impressed by the thickness of the tile and the strength of the adhesive backing. It feels more substantial than some peel-and-stick options I have used.One box covered my backsplash area completely, and I am very happy with the finished result. I would buy it again for another small wall or accent area.
