This lamp is a really nice lamp! I had bought a previous one and I could not screw together as the sheath over the cord threaded inside the pole was too rigid and thick to maneuver.I like that the lamp is remote controlled and switch controlled. I like the bulb color choices too. I was leary about the globe as it is plastic but it does not look it. Also, the plastic globe makes it lighter for me to lift and move around.

An attractive, decorative and fun lamp with plenty of lighting options. Smart looking and serviceable. I ordered red but it came in black without notice. No big deal I guess. I would rather have the black than nothing at all.
