Great lights. Love the colors and all of the possible patterns.

These are a replacement set as the others I bought are not in stock. I had trouble just a few days after warranty expired and seller. offered me 3 solutions. I chose this set and it was shipped quickly.. Seller was awesome in communication. Considering buying another set to install outside my gazebo

They work great, like other Xmcosy light products I've used before. The wifi control is surprisingly solid, I never have it disconnect like many other smart lighting products I've used. The brightness and color reproduction are quite good as well. I like that they include two spare LED cores in the box, which tells me they are replaceable and if they end up not lasting as long as I hope, I can probably contact the company to buy more - this is always a concern with RGB lighting and this is the first company I've seen make them replaceable. The reason I'm giving these four stars rather than five:- Compared to other string light sets, these have fewer bulbs for the same length. The 72 foot set I bought only contains 22 bulbs, with them spaced about 3 feet apart. Other sets I own have a bulb every 2 feet.- The "white" light mode lets you set the color only down to about 3000-3500K. They are a neutal or "bright" white, not a warm white like most string lights. You can approximate a warm white glow by choosing an orange tone from the color picker.- It's also a little weird that after pairing, you have to configure the app to tell it how many bulbs are on your set (the default was 120!) but that was only briefly confusing.

This is a great product. I love the new software. The ability to save custom setting is a game changer. This is my third set of lights from XMcosy.

These are much more fun than ordinary patio lights.Nearly 100 feet gives you enough length to cover a pretty large area, and once I had them powered up, I spent way too much time playing with the different colors and effects in the app.The warm white setting is nice enough for everyday patio lighting, but the color options are what make these stand out. You can change different sections independently, which opens up a lot of possibilities for holidays, parties, or just matching the mood. The app connected without much trouble, and Alexa control is convenient when you don't feel like hunting for your phone.I also really like that the bulbs are shatterproof. Outdoor string lights eventually get bumped, dropped, or whipped around by the wind, so plastic bulbs make much more sense to me than glass. The only thing I'd suggest is testing everything before spending an hour hanging 98 feet of lights. That's something I do with every outdoor light set. These would be great for patios, pergolas, porches, weddings, Halloween, Christmas, or basically anyone who likes changing their outdoor look without replacing the lights every season.

Bought these to run around the pergola and along the fence line, and 98 feet ended up being exactly right with a little slack for the droop I wanted. Hanging them took me about an hour on a Saturday morning. The strand is sturdy without being stiff, and the bulbs feel solid instead of that flimsy plastic you get with cheap sets. The app connected on the first try, which honestly surprised me. My wife has already claimed control of it from her phone. She does soft warm white for dinner outside, and the kids beg for the color chase stuff whenever friends come over. Being able to split the run into zones is what sold me, since I can keep the seating area a mellow amber while the section over the grill stays brighter and cooler. Saving scenes means I hit one button instead of fiddling every night. We've had a few hard rains since I put them up, plus a stretch of brutal afternoon sun, and they haven't skipped a beat. The schedule feature handles the on and off automatically at dusk, so I stopped thinking about them entirely. Asking Alexa to shut them down when I'm already inside is a small thing that feels like a luxury.Neighbors keep asking where I got them. Money well spent, and I'd buy another set for the front porch without hesitating.

I had trouble downloading the app onto my iphone. However, I asked my wife to do it and she got it connected right away... Your experience may vary, but I had to ask someone smarter than me. Once I got the lights up and running, I was very impressed. For the price, I was expecting very high, durable quality. I was not disappointed. They hang off the cord with a very sturdy rubber attachement. The glass on the bulbs felt really thick to me. The bulbs are supposed to be shatterproof and I believe they are. I ordered the smallest string and realized that 49' is still really long. It stretched out the length of my townhome. However, depending on how your "hang them," you space them closer together. But, I liked that it was so long, I had enough wire to cover the sides of my patio, too. The lights are supposed to be waterproof and I trust that they are. I liked the lights so much that I worried about getting them hung permenantly and having one burn out. They come with one extra "core." I'm not sure how to get it inside the glass, but it must be possible. I asked "Alexa" if I could get more cores if I needed them and she said to contact the company for replacements. Probably the best part of the lights is the versatility of lighting effects and brightness. You can change the colors so the bulbs are all one color or make each bulb a different color. I haven't goofed around with the application enough to create different intensities. I'm glad you can control it with an application rather than with a remote control because we have some remote control "lights" and there's always controversy about where the control was left last. I also asked "Alexa" if I could download the operating software onto mulitple phones in case I'm not at home and the lights need to be dimmed or the colors changed. Alexa said YES. That's a good feature, too.

I'm replacing some other lights that did not have colors and didn't have well thought out hanging in mind. The best things about these lights are the thoughtfulness and sturdiness. My other lights were cheaper but they had thin wire without much insulation and no good way to hang it. This string of lights costs more but you get a lot more for your money. Hanging the lights is so much easier and looks very much better outside in my back yard. You should note that in the hundred foot version, at least, there is one light every three feet or so. The bulbs are big, as you can see in my photo. I wouldn't hang them around a small porch but rather across a yard.We will be doing some silly colors for Halloween and thanksgiving and easter and Christmas. We are happy simply to not have awful blue-light LED's. These color changing lights are a valuable upgrade from other lights simply because you can fine-tune the color of white lights to match your other lights... mimicking 4000k white or 3000k or whatever you already have in place. For that reason, I encourage anyone to buy color capable lights even if you never plan to have purple and orange lights for Halloween.
