These are long enough to reach into a furnace and grab something that you dropped like an idiot and grab it before damage can happen. The handles are comfy and have decent grip and add to the dexterity. They are very smooth opening and closing and that helps when your trying to grab something while shining a light to help your aim. They should last forever unless you do something stupid or try to break them. The look good and feel good and seem to be worth the money. Hautmec is cranking out some good tools and have never disappointed me.
