These six KNOBWELL privacy locksets are really well done. The matte-black zinc-alloy hardware has a nice weight to it, the spring tension feels just right, and the operation is very smooth. Overall they have the feel of much more expensive luxury hardware. The styling is also very distinctive. The knobs themselves are a little smaller than average, which helps give them a unique almost vintage or retro appearance. The square backing plate combined with the round knob and sharper geometric edges works especially well in our Mission/Craftsman-style home. These are privacy sets intended for bedroom or bathroom doors, and they also include an emergency exterior-unlock feature. Between the solid feel, smooth operation, distinctive design, and overall finish, this is very well-executed hardware.

For the price, I’m really impressed with the quality and the matte black finish. Getting six knobs in a package at this price is an excellent deal, especially when you’re trying to update multiple doors at once. I manage a lot of properties, so I’m constantly replacing or upgrading hardware, and buying them in a six-pack makes a big difference.The knobs feel substantial and much more expensive than I expected for the price. The square shape and matte black finish also give the doors a nice updated look without having to spend a fortune on a renovation. It’s a simple change, but new hardware can make an older property feel much more refreshed.One feature I particularly appreciate is the emergency-release slot on the outside of the knob. If a tenant accidentally locks themselves out of their bedroom, they can use something as simple as a butter knife to release the lock. That might sound like a small detail, but when you manage rental properties, little things like this can save you a surprising number of calls.I’ve had plenty of tenants call because they’ve locked themselves out of a bedroom, and I’m not interested in driving over just to unlock a door. Having an easy emergency-release feature is a huge convenience for both me and the tenant.Overall, I think these are an excellent value. They look good, feel well made, are easy to install, and the six-pack makes them especially appealing if you’re updating multiple rooms or properties. For a property manager, this is exactly the kind of inexpensive upgrade that makes sense.

I’ve been wanting to replace the doorknobs in my house for months, and these fit the bill nicely. So far, I have installed two out of the six and am very happy with the results. They are well-made, and all of the parts fit together perfectly.The only real challenge is the installation design. The shape of the knob makes it difficult to screw the indoor and outdoor pieces together. There isn't enough clearance for a standard screwdriver, so you will definitely need a very short stubby screwdriver to finish the job. I have small fingers, so I was able to hand-turn the screws most of the way in first, which helped a lot. If your existing door holes line up, swapping these out should be a quick and easy process.However, if you have an older house like mine where nothing is perfectly straight, be prepared to drill new holes and get a little creative with the alignment! Overall, a great product that looks wonderful once installed.

All of our door knobs are the handle kind and they’re silver and I don’t like any of them. We’ve been in our home for three years. I keep saying I want these changed like the faucets and everything to black. It’s been a slow process, but it’s getting taken care of and when I came across six packs of interior privacy door knobs I was very happy. They’re exactly what I’m looking for. They have a square decorative back on each one and not only that my husband says these are going to be easy to install so when they get installed, which might actually start being today, I will update with a picture. These are the privacy kind like you put on your bedroom your bathroom those types of doors what I like about them is they don’t catch on your clothes like the other ones is due if you go too close to them . I learned something though for my husband he said that the reason for those other handles this because it’s easier for seniors to open them if they have arthritis or anything in their hands while we are seniors, but I’m determined I’m going to have the better looking door knobs that will look more modern and up-to-date yet been in perfectly with both modern and farmhouse style. We will always save the others in case there’s any reason we would have to change them back. I definitely hope not. The quality of these door knobs is very good. I know what you would look for for a bad door knob unless some of the real cheap ones are thin, but they seem to be not any different to me than the more expensive ones we looked at in the store. These are a good value for your money, buying them in a pack like this. My life must be boring if I’m finding new door knobs in my house to be a big deal. Lol. Definite, good value and five stars.

The 6 pack matte black door knobs feel well built and made of quality material. I have yet to have my husband install them, but I plan to use all 6 to change out my outdated gold door knobs.I chose the privacy version which has a standard knob you turn to lock. I do like that it includes a special tool for emergency purposes where you need to get inside. The tool is straightforward to use; just stick it in a small hole located on the exterior part of the door knob.They are very stylish yet simple, and the matte black finish will work well for a variety of decor styles including modern, modern farmhouse, minimalist, contemporary, industrial, etc.I’m not a handy DIY type of person, so installation looks complicated (for me) but hopefully it is easier than the detailed instructions make it seem. The one issue I can already see is that the matte black finish shows smudges and fingerprints(oils from your skin) so you will need to clean them more frequently and wiped down.Overall, they are very nice looking door knobs and the price is not bad for a set of 6. As I mentioned, I’ve yet to install them but I believe they will work just fine and improve the overall look of my home. Sometimes the smallest change can make a big difference in aesthetics!

I ordered the KNOBWELL 6 Pack Black Interior, Privacy Door Knobs as I am replacing all of my dated 1950s interior doorknobs.The quality exceeded my expectations for the price. The knobs feel sturdy, well-made, and much more expensive than it is. Because I am replacing so many, finding something that looks high-end without breaking the bank was important to me, and these met my requirements.Installation was very easy. My house was built in the 1950s and still has inexpensive hollow-core doors with dated silver and gold knobs. I recently painted the doors a crisp white, and swapping in this matte black knob completely transformed the look. These have made my doors feel more modern and updated.Functionally, they work well and feel solid. My only complaint is that some of the knobs occasionally stick slightly when turning and I have to turn them back to unstick. I demonstrated this in my video. I'm not sure whether this is because of an installation error on my part or if it simply needs a some lubricant, but it hasn't been enough to bother me or affect everyday use. They did arrive fairly greased so I’m guessing I made need to add some more.Also, some of the doors I installed them on have never latched properly, but after installing these knobs, they finally close securely and the privacy lock works perfectly. Because I have kids, I love the lock feature as I can lock doors I don’t want them to enter. I was bummed that these did not come with an emergency privacy key, however, I am using one I had on hand that works for these. You can also use a screwdriver or anything that has a flat side that can turn the screw that unlocks it.Overall, I'm extremely happy with these door knobs. They look beautiful, feel solid, were easy to install, and gave my older doors a much needed modern upgrade. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you're updating multiple doors and want a quality option at a reasonable price.

Since the start of spring, I have been slowly remodeling my entire house by myself. Other than painting all of the walls and installing new carpets, the rest of the project is not a massive job, and I have mainly been replacing all of the finish hardware and light fixtures throughout my house. Having already replaced some of my unique door knobs, such as the ones on my exterior and bathroom doors, I now needed a set of six that all matched each other for the bedroom doors throughout my house. And I have also been going with a more modern look by choosing hardware and fixtures with a matte black color.Since I was ordering a large number of door knobs at once, before I ordered this set, I first wanted to check out the KNOBWELL brand to make sure it was well-established and had similar products with good ratings. Well, I was very happy when I checked out its Amazon storefront. Not only does the company specialize in door knobs and finish hardware, but every product I looked at had high ratings with hundreds or thousands of reviews.When the knobs arrived, I inspected all six sets to make sure the finish matched and none of the parts were damaged. And they all looked great, and I did not find any scratches or missing pieces. And the knobs and all of the metal parts also had a good feel and weight to them. These door knobs do not look or feel cheaply made at all. And the square plates make them look much more modern because they add straight lines to their design.If you have experience installing door knobs, then you should have no issues with these. And I was really lucky that the latches fit the existing openings in my doors, so I didn’t need to do any new carving of the wood. Once installed, the knobs felt firm, and there was no looseness at all between the knob and the plate. And they turned smoothly, and the locks also worked perfectly. And you can unlock the doors from the outside in case you lock one by accident.Getting six quality privacy knobs in one set that match each other made my life so much easier. And they look great with all the black hardware and newer light fixtures I have been installing throughout the house. I am guessing you can find door knobs cheaper online, but I am not sure you can find the same quality as these door knobs at this price which makes them a great value for the price. I am very happy I discovered the brand, and I highly recommend them.
