Seriously this is really cute and I love that the dusk-to-dawn sensor works quite well... Although in certain rooms it's almost always dark enough to the activated. I'm not sure why it uses the word smart in the title / description. In my book dusk to Dawn sensors are kind of basic and I use the word smart in this kind of product to describe things that go out to phones or use pretty high tech gadgetry. This is nice and simple! Doesn't need to be smart! It works great just the way it is. So why not five star? Well the tax value attributed to the Vine program and likely written off by the distributor/manufacturer is $16, but you can get it for only 11! Since my reviews need to take into account the value to you... And when they mess around with the value like that it's just not too cool. But, This item is So worth it for $11! It is just lovely and works great. Would be great if my cell phone camera could catch the real light involved, it really is lovely. Both when lit up and when it's not!

I really like this night night - the dusk/dawn mechanism works perfectly and it displays a relaxing display of light when activated. The design is beautiful; I love dragonflies. The listing photo looks like a very soft and delicate water color painting. The actual light has sharper lines and bolder colors. Don't get me wrong, it is still beautiful, but I wish it was more natural looking like the listing photo. One of the outlet prongs was bent upon arrival, but that's just because it was packed with a heavy item -- no fault of the product and it took about 2 seconds to bend the prong back straight. Proud to display this in my home, just wish it looked a bit more natural.

My son loves monster trucks, but he hates the dark. So This seemed like a match made in heaven. Functionally, it works just fine. The sensor works as it should, shutting it off when it's light enough and turning the light on when it gets dark. No switches or anything, just plug it in and go on about your day. The materials it's made of are actually impressive for what it is. the plastic base is solid, the sensor is protected by clear plastic. The monster truck portion is made from an impressively thick plastic or acrylic material. The image itself is easy to see and the colors really pop. The overall design is good. I do wish the light was a bit more of a natural, yellow light rather than the harsh white LED light. Overall though, it does what it needs to do and it looks fun. My kid loves it. $15 is a tad much for what it is, it should be about five dollars less I think. But it's a solid night light.
