Super bright. Would have returned as I did not like the having to flick switch each time to get it back to the light color we like. For the price I put them in the basement.

My basement has four bulbs in standard screw-in bases on the ceiling, and I have tried several types of bulbs (incandescent and LED) to make the basement visible (there are no windows), but it’s always been rather dim, making it sort of difficult to see what I’m doing down there (including laundry). I saw this two-pack of LED platter-like light bulbs by Buroraix and decided to give them a try. As soon as I removed the old bulb and screwed one of these in, I was immediately incredibly impressed. The amount of light they cast is way more than my old bulbs and actually allows me to see what I’m doing! They were incredibly simple to install, and considering how long LEDs generally last, these should be lighting up my basement for years. I think I’ll order another two-pack for the other two bulbs down there. Excellent product, and I wholeheartedly recommend it if you’re looking to light up a space at a very reasonable price.

I use these to replace the lightbulbs in my garage. I had standard old-fashioned lightbulbs, and the lighting was just horrible in there.. these were also very easy to install. I just unscrewed the old lightbulbs and screw these in. It’s a pretty big size. It looks almost like a plate. Right off the bat as soon as they turned on the lightbulbs, they were super bright and lit up my entire garage. They’re also very high-quality and it comes with a piece to attach to an existing outlet.

My guest room has a single light on the wall, not overhead, and I am being generous when I say it sucks. It lights up nothing. To get a half decent illumination of the room, I need at least 1500 lumens and I prefer a slightly warmer 3500k coloration for ease on the eyes. Looking at the sales pic of these, there's definitely a warmer, yellow cast. In fact, I was worried it'd be too yellow, like a 2700k, which I didn't want. The boxes I received gave no indication on any aspect of those control points.I've included an over-abundance of pictures for reference: starting with the type of light I had to work with, the extender I needed to use (not included) and the result. As you can see, the lumens are between 800 and 1100, I would guess, which is not very illuminating in a room that's 14'x16'. The light is super bright to look at, but doesn't extend that courtesy to the rest of the space. (Keep in mind the phone's lens works to pull in light- the naked eye result is not as nice and bright as the photos. I included pics of this light mixed with my ceiling-hung fan light which has adjustable warmth settings.) It's also easily 4000k or more, giving a very white cast which I find hard on the eyes. I tried to include pictures of the standard bulb I have in the light for comparison, and it's 1500 lumens with a warmth cast of 3500k. Though larger by a good bit, the flat bulb doesn't offer the same coverage as the standard bulb. Instead, it looks like a nightlight on steroids. I opted not to use it but I believe it'd possibly be good for an overhead bathroom light.The quality of the bulb is very good; it seems built well and is sturdy. It IS very pretty with its crystalline appearance and design. It's definitely low profile, as advertised. I was hoping for a good solution, but didn't find it here. However, I know my desires in lighting are specific, much of which stems from my aging eyesight and need for simply gobs of light. Installation is easy and each bulb consist of two pieces- the bulb and the adaptor. You do need to slide the adaptor on, as shown by illustration on the box. Then it's just screw-in, like with any bulb. Due to their size and construction, these bulbs are somewhat heavier than standard ones, which probably only matters if you have to use an extender like I did. It might add more weight than your socket is happy with. This is niche lighting, but if it suits your needs and/or decor, I recommend it.

We have only 4 bulb sockets in our 2 car garage, which with regular bulbs don't provide a lot of light, so our garage is quite dark. My husband and I wanted to try these to see if they put out more light. They definitely do. They are very large disks that are very bright. They light up our garage a lot better than just standard bulbs.They are made of all plastic, and have a texture that makes them look a little odd, but in our garage we aren't really concerned with aesthetics so they are fine for our purposes. They are very low profile, so they don't detract from our headroom. They come flat-packed with a detachable bulb base that slides into a socket on the back. This makes them space-saving while storing when not in use. The bulb base attaches very firmly and is quite hard to get back off. I actually ended up cutting my thumb trying to get one off, so I would recommend being careful if you're trying to remove them.

Wow! This 12 inch screw-in LED light is amazing! It was simple to assemble, the one piece just slides into the other and then you have a useable LED light bulb. After that it screws simply into a standard socket. The brightness of the light at 6,500 lumens can be compared to a surgical light!I put one bulb in my closet and it so bright it is almost blinding! (My husband says it is) I love it!The second bulb I placed in the garage in the laundry area. Again the bright white light is incredible. I will be helpful with pretreatment of stains.Appearance-It is as bright as a shop light but more attractive .It is made of plastic so if it were to accidentally fall, parts of it would most likely shatter but I don’t plan on that happening.It is an excellent value with its high function and usefulness. I would recommend these light to anyone who need to light up an area or shop light.It would be useful when painting a room!
