Very beautiful design. The extra light is adjustable and can be angled for direct light. The base is heavy enough it will not tip over. The lamp looks very expensive in person, worth the price, & the glass globe has a very subtle coloring.

I was looking for a little more light in my study, especially near my couch where it tends to be a bit dark, and I wanted something that was both functional and stylish. One of my favorite features is the dual-light design. Oh how I love these old fashioned lamps! So romantic and distinguished.The base is solid and sturdy, and the intricate details are phenomenal. The frosted shades give a welcoming warmth that’s easy on the eyes. The height of the whole piece is quite grand, it’s taller than I am! The lights are on/off, and each light operates independently.Assembly was pretty straight forward- everything is connected by the power cord, and you just screw each piece on top of the other and pull the power cord through the base to tighten up the slack. I love that it came with the LED bulbs too, making it ready to go upon assembly.

I ordered this Vintage Torchiere Floor Lamp for a corner of my home, and overall I’m very pleased with it. It has a nice rustic farmhouse look with the amber frosted glass shades that gives off a warm, inviting light. The included LED bulbs were a nice bonus, and both the main light and adjustable reading light work well.Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take long at all. The lamp feels solid and stable once put together. While I wouldn’t consider it a high-end luxury lamp, it definitely doesn’t feel cheap either. It strikes a nice balance between quality and affordability.The adjustable reading light is convenient for reading or other close-up tasks, and the overall design looks attractive in a living room, bedroom, or office. Durability appears good so far, and the sturdy construction gives me confidence that it will hold up well over time and fits in our space.Overall, this is a good-looking, functional floor lamp and a good value for the money.

It was such a pretty day out, I took the box outside to assemble the lamp to keep all the Styrofoam bits out of the house and to have a lot more light to show the lamp off in detail in a few of the pictures.I have to say that I really like this lamp a lot. Of all of the lamps I have gotten from Amazon that are in multiple pieces and need to be assembled, this is the best of them so far when it comes to quality, durability, and aesthetics. This is a good-looking lamp that really does have a vintage look to it and carries off more elegance than most of the other lamps I have tried. The frosted lamp shades are very attractive looking and adds more to the sophisticated appearance of this lamp.The lamp has a good heft to it and has a very solid and heavy base for stability so it's not going to tip over on you easily at all. The assembly itself is very simple and straightforward. It's just the packaging, foam, and everything else you have to get through and cut up that's a little annoying. But all you do is screw a few pieces of the metal post together, pull the cord through at the bottom so everything fits together well, and then you attach the shades with the included polymer nuts that are already threaded in place. It's that easy. It took me like two minutes to get it put together after I got all the packaging out of the way.It's a tall lamp, maybe right at six feet or a little bit more and the included LED bulbs throw off a nice even glow. The main bulb that comes with it is 800 lumens and the bulb for the reading-arm attachment is 550 lumens so it doesn't throw off too much glare when you're trying to read or work on a laptop or tablet.Overall, I'm impressed by the quality of this lamp and how it seamlessly integrates into the decor without looking cheap like some other lamps I've tried. Even the cord itself feels like a good solid quality. Several lamps I've gotten from China have very thin cords that make me worry about the electric load they are carrying. Not this one. Everything about this lamp is solid and feels put together quite well. Yes, this lamp is a little more expensive than some other lamps you have to assemble, but the quality and appearance of it definitely makes the package worth the money. It is well worth the price paid.It doesn't have a remote switch like a lot of modern lamps I've gotten lately, but I kind of like that. I've got a ton of remotes and it's hard to keep them straight and not lose them. This lamp is a little old-fashioned with rotary switches and the action on the switches is very nice. Plus, if I want to use a remote, I've got a remote that I can use and it has different buttons for the receivers that are plugged in different outlets around the room. So, I can turn on lamps and other electrical items in the room by selecting the numbered button on the remote for the outlet that electrical item that is plugged into the selected outlet at the time.If you're on the fence about this lamp, go ahead and get it. It's attractive, well built and definitely worth the money.
