Worth clarifying upfront: this is a corded electric sprayer, not cordless. Plan for extension cord access before you set up your project.The HVLP design moves a high volume of air at low pressure. Low pressure means less bounce back and less risk of damaging sensitive materials, and the finish comes out smoother than a brush or roller on most surfaces. You will still get drips if you put the paint on too heavy which I find is easier to do when spraying.Three spray patterns and three interchangeable nozzles cover the range from fine furniture work to broader wall and fence coverage. Paint needs to be properly thinned first using the included viscosity cup, which is the step most people skip and then wonder why coverage is uneven. These are custom nozzles from what I can tell. They wont work with the tips used on other brands.The small onboard reservoir means frequent refills on larger jobs, so plan accordingly. For a fence or large exterior surface that gets tedious, but for furniture, cabinets, and trim it is fine. Honestly don't use this on a fence or exterior. Get the airless paint sprayer for that job.At this price point the main considerations before buying are overspray management and cleanup. Masking off the surrounding area is non-negotiable, overspray travels further than you expect. Cleanup is more involved than tossing a cheap brush but easier than breaking down a roller setup. Clean it within 15 minutes of finishing or dried paint in the nozzle becomes a real problem. If you can move the items to a safe location like outside, then you get to dodge all the masking and prep work.

I really wanted to like this sprayer because it's lightweight, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. The spray pattern is super uneven, leaving blotchy spots no matter how you adjust the flow or change nozzles. I tried it on a fence and it took forever because you can only cover a tiny area before you have to refill, and the overspray is insane. It’s just too finicky and messy for real-world use. I'll be going back to my old roller.

I finally got a chance to use this yesterday and wow - it's a game-changer! I was only pre-painting some baseboard material, but it worked flawlessly and was very easy to set up and clean.I'm sure it would work great for cabinet painting and probably even smaller walls. It doesn't hold a ton of paint, so it's not really a full wall machine, but for smaller jobs, it's perfect.Pros:- Very easy to set up and clean.- Multiple spray patterns and nozzles for versatility.- Ultra-light and comfortable to use.- Great results on trim and smaller projects.- Excellent for DIY home painting.Cons:- Smaller paint capacity (best for smaller project, not large walls).Highly recommended!

I used this sprayer for a few different DIY projects around the house. This included repainting my shed (with 2 different colors), refreshing the trim on my house, and doing small wall touch-ups inside. I'd say it’s a very beginner friendly sprayer that makes painting faster and more even compared to using brushes or rollers. Especially on larger or uneven surfaces.One of the biggest advantages is how lightweight and easy it is to handle. Even during my longer painting sessions it didn’t feel tiring to hold. That made a big difference when working on my larger projects. The sprayer lays down a fairly smooth coat. Once you get the settings dialed in it produces a nice, consistent finish without much overspray.The three spray patterns are pretty useful. I found the horizontal pattern worked best for walls, vertical for the trim (think tall and narrow targets), while the circular setting was helpful for corners and smaller areas. Having multiple nozzle sizes also helps depending on whether you’re using thinner paint, stains, or thicker coatings.Cleaning is straightforward compared to other sprayers I’ve used. If you flush it right after use, it doesn’t take too long to break down and rinse out. This might actually encourage me to clean it properly instead of letting paint dry inside.That said it does take a bit of practice to get the spray consistency right. If the paint isn’t thinned properly or the distance isn’t consistent, you can get light patching or occasional uneven coverage. I'd highly recommend spending a little time testing on cardboard or scrap surfaces first.Another downside is that for larger projects, you may need to refill the container fairly often. This slows things down a bit compared to higher capacity professional sprayers. If you're doing a huge area it would make sense to rent a professional spray system and leave this to those small, one-off jobs. Also, overspray can be noticeable indoors if you’re not careful with masking.Now, you may see some reviews saying it feels like really cheap plastic. Is it? Sure. But it's $20. With the amount of time and money you'll be saving by using this sprayer, it will most likely pay for itself in the first couple of uses.Overall, this is a very solid entry level sprayer that delivers good results for DIY home improvement projects. This is the best economy priced paint gun you will find on Amazon. The paint gun is comparable to the Wagner Electric paint gun. It has a large reservoir for paint. The gun is made of plastic construction making it very light weight. The gun comes with 3 nozzles so you can paint vertical Horizontal or just a general circle pattern. It feels nice in your hand and you can control it well because of the light weight construction. The plastic makes you doubt the quality of the gun, however it holds up well. I have painted my Gazebo with it and it did remarkably well. I think I am going to throw out my brushes. LOL.The clean up is super important. Once you are done painting for the day, you need to wash out the paint from the reservoir, clean and rinse all the paint from the nozzles, and run water through the gun to give it a thorough rinse. There are tools that come with the gun which allow you to punch out any dried paint from the gun. There are small brushes as well that help clean out the pick up tube. Overall the price is what makes this gun awesome. $14.99 for a paint gun is well worth the price.

I was trying to finish putting stain on my deck, but there were places that a brush couldn't reach. I was hoping that this gun would allow me to spray those hidden areas. The first two pictures show you the before and after of that. I was pretty happy with the results, but it took a little learning.The power switch starts the blower and the trigger controls the paint spray. The way the device controls the amount of spray is by a knob on the trigger. With it fully tightened, you can get the max spray. As you loosen it, it stops the trigger at different levels. It is a pretty poor way to control the flow and the knob rotates really easily so pressing the trigger frequently can actually change the spray level.The device is very easy to use. The inserts (nozzle and diverter) are keyed so they can only go in one way and the spray pattern is easily adjusted. The spray is actually pretty good in coverage and uniformity, but that comes after a little practice. With the trigger fully pulled, it tended to deposit too much paint and I would get runs.If you are buying this to do paint, keep in mind that you may need to thin it out for it to work in this sprayer. I used undiluted stain because it was already thin and didn't have any issues.One nice thing is cleanup was a breeze. I had a pail of warm water with just a drop of detergent. I soaked the nozzle components and ran the gun with the tub filled with the water. After emptying the tub, everything was clean. Just needed a little wiping of places that got splashed. That was a nice as I was worried this might be a one and done thing.I think this would be a great tool to use for large areas like fences and barns. I would use it on things that the coverage could be a little non-uniform and it really wouldn't make much difference. I am not sure this would be a great tool for interior work as rolling would probably give more uniform coverage. But overall, this is a great value for a paint sprayer. Also, it wasn't obvious from the description or pictures but this is 120V AC powered.

​I have to admit, this is the very first paint sprayer I’ve ever owned, so I didn't have much to compare it to and wasn't sure what to expect for the price. Honestly, I’ve been really pleasantly surprised by the quality and how well it actually works.​Right out of the box, my initial reaction was that it pushes out a ton of airflow. The design is straightforward: as soon as you turn the machine on, it immediately starts pushing air, and then pulling the trigger introduces the material. It has a great adjustable knob that lets you control the volume of the paint or stain, allowing you to choose whether you want to lay it on heavy or light. I used this to reapply the same color stain to my kids' backyard swing set to give it some new life and make it last a few more years, and the sprayer made quick work of it.​Being my first time using a sprayer, the biggest learning curve was definitely diluting the material. Here is a huge tip from my own experience to save you a massive headache: get a separate paint cup or bucket to mix and dilute your material in. The sprayer comes with a viscosity cup to test the thickness, but if you don't have a separate container to actually do the mixing, it turns into a messy, total pain in the butt. Having a separate container lets you quickly get the viscosity right so you can just knock the project out.​The onboard reservoir doesn't hold a massive amount of material—especially for larger projects—so you will be refilling it. But overall, it outperformed my expectations. I'm currently letting it dry out after cleaning it, as I know keeping these machines spotless is the key to making sure they work the next time. If you keep it clean and prepare your mixture beforehand, it’s a fantastic tool for the money!
