I am in the middle of a bathroom remodel and decided to go with this recessed niche instead of the traditional tiled-in ones that always seem to leak eventually. The 12 by 12 inch size is perfect for holding all our bottles, and the matte black finish looks really modern against the new tile. Since it is made of 304 stainless steel, I don’t have to worry about it rusting or the paint chipping off over time. The best part was that it was incredibly easy to install since it is already waterproof and doesn’t require any extra tiling inside the shelf area. It sits flush against the wall and the 2-tier design helps keep everything organized instead of having a big pile of shampoo bottles on the floor. It feels very high-end and saved me a lot of time and hassle during the build. If you want a clean look without the headache of building a custom niche, this is definitely the way to go.

We’re starting the remodel on one of our bathrooms. It’s a smaller shower stall and we’re going to take out all the old existing tile and flooring.Our original plans included building a shower niche which would require some extra tile cutting and framing or more labor costs!Using this stainless steel recessed shower niche is so much easier. It’s made out of 304 stainless steel and this one is a matte black color which matches the tile that we picked!This niche is waterproof and I think it’ll be easier to keep clean than a niche made of tiles. The size is a 12“ x 12“ which is a smaller storage capacity, but this is for the smaller guest downstairs bathroom.Overall this stainless steel niche is a better value, cleaner look and much more cost-effective option to doing a tiled niche.

Overall this item looks nice and has the right features for being in the shower. Maybe it is me but the matte looks more on the shinny side because of the none uniform texture. The paint finish is exceptional but some weld bumps can be seen on the rear to side areas on the inside. Ironically, I could not touch them with my fingers and I gather I will never remember with bottle these.Picture 3 and 4 are really important for when you install. I used the packing foam to show that one side has an angle greater than 90 degrees. This is for water to drain out. The other side is 90 degrees. Opposite sides have the small measurements. There is a direction on installation. The greater than 90 degrees must be top and bottom for water to drain out. The niche's corners look and feel fine but depending on your angle of view, you might see defects. This is a visual trick on your brain.The niche feels very solid and will be very durable. I believe it could be painted but I will not do so.I am a bit confused on foaming agent vs blowing agent from the instruction. Make sure to seal the top and bottom tight so no water gets through the seams at those locations.Price per quality is exceptional. I have no issue recommending this niche.

My husband suggested building an outdoor shower and I love the idea. We're in the Pacific Northwest so this will be a summer only shower but we needed some place to put toiletries that can stand up to the weather. Theis box arrived surrounded in styrofoam to make sure it doesn't get scratched or dinged. It has a nice weight to it and looks like it's been enamel coated? The Finish has a slight pebbled texture and looks really nice. The shower is not complete yet so no finished photos but I think this will work perfect

We are in the middle of remodeling our shower and since we had to gut the whole thing, I thought we should probably get a recessed shower niche instead of trying to make a box in the tile.The main dimensions of this box is 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide on the inside but 13.2“ x 13.2“ on the outer side. The box itself is only 4 inches deep. Now the opening of your wall needs to be 12.2“ x 12.2“ x 4.1“. I really wish it was deeper than 4 inches. Some of your new shampoo bottles and body wash bottles are 4 inches in diameter..I do like the recessed in wall design because if it’s a smaller shower, you don’t have to worry about it basically taking up more space for you to move around. This is corrosion and rust resistant made from a premium 304 stainless steel with a built-in drainage slope there will be no water accumulation, and it will help with mold prevention.
