Works perfectly with DeWalt batteries and has held up well being used on cars and with a diamond blade to cut up landscaping stones.

Good quality and feature set. Not sure that I trust the discs enough to use, haven't used them yet. Tool itself is a win though. only potential downside is there's only 3 speeds, more expensive options can have more than that but not a huge deal to me. Screen makes it easy to see battery and mode

I picked this up mainly because it runs on the same 20V Dewalt batteries as my other tools, so I don't have to keep a separate charger or battery type just for one tool. The first real test was cutting through a padlock that needed to come off, and it made quick work of it with a clean cut.Compared to my corded genuine Dewalt grinder, this one doesn't feel quite as solid, but that's expected. For situations where I don't need the raw power or precision of the corded tool, this cordless version covers me just fine.Pros:1. Up front this is a typical knock-off of Dewalt. With that said this is a decent knock-off.The battery seats very well and the trigger works great.Fortunately it is brushless (unverified) which will help extend the life of the grinder.The disks that come with it are a decent set and I used the cut-off wheel to cut some bolts in half.The higher end models have a tool free removable nut but that blade wrench that comes with this unit works perfectly fine. With corded units it's a no brainer to just tape the wrench about a foot down on the cord so you won't loose it. This one your just going to have to keep track of.The RPM's are enough to accomplish any job.It has a weird comparison to brushed motors which is completely unverifiable however brushless is superior.PSA: A lockable trigger on a grinder is not ideal. A deadman switch is the best option because of the high speed of the disc. Please be careful.My grinder has a weird twist to it where 2 main components meet between the handle and main grinder body. Thats a bit concerningBottom line-I recommend for the budget friendly option. Fo me this is a back-up to my primary grinder to avoid changing blades back and forth on certain project.

I bought this as a second angle grinder to keep in my truck for quick jobs, and it’s been a great little tool. It fits all my existing Dewalt 20V batteries without any adapter issues, which is exactly what I needed. The brushless motor gives smooth starts and enough torque for cutting rebar and grinding down welds. I especially like the 3-speed slider – being able to slow it down for flap disc work is a nice touch. The quick-release guard is also way better than messing with a hex key on my other grinders. If you already have Dewalt batteries, this is a no-brainer for the price.

I’m not a pro, just someone who likes to fix things around the house. This grinder made cutting old bolts and cleaning up rust so much easier than using my corded one. The fact that it shares batteries with my Dewalt drill means I never have to worry about charging a special pack. The included accessories are decent – several cutting wheels, 3 flap discs and even a little wrench that actually works. The soft start feature is great because it doesn’t jerk your wrist when you pull the trigger. One thing to note: it drains a 2Ah battery pretty fast, so I recommend using at least a 4Ah pack for serious work. Also, no case is included, which would have been nice, but for the money I’m still very happy.
