This filter fits the shower head perfectly. You can also use for other brands but check your dimensions first. Filter has a solid, well built feel to it. It has a decent weight which means more filter material inside. Easy to install, just remove and replace. The smell from my water is removed and the water just plain feels better on my hair and skin now. It comes sealed on both ends and in a plastic bag which is nice. Its not marked as to which side is inlet vs which is outlet. It would be helpful if it was. Value is similar to others.

I don't actually have a SparkPod shower head...I have an off-brand version that uses the same style filter. I took a chance on this one, and it fit perfectly. Swapping it out took less than a minute, and I was back up and running.The water pressure stayed strong after installing it, and I didn't notice any leaks or fitment issues. It's one of those simple maintenance items that's worth replacing regularly, especially if you have hard water.The only thing I noticed is that this filter doesn't seem to be filled quite as much as some of the other replacement filters I've used. If you shake it, it feels like there's a little less filter media inside. That doesn't necessarily mean it won't work well, but it was something I noticed when comparing it to others.Overall, it's a good replacement filter that fit my off-brand shower head perfectly, installs quickly, and gets the job done.

I fully expected this replacement filter cartridge was going to be a quick and easy swap, but it didn't quite go as planned. This did not seat perfectly with my shower filter head unit right off the bat even though I checked and it said it was compatible with my model of shower head unit. When I first tried to screw the casing back together, it was a very tight squeeze and ended up leaking bad and I got drenched the second i turned the handle for the water to run. I actually had to make some modifications to reduce the top and bottom outer diameter of the plastic housing just to get it to slide in properly. On top of that, I had to dig through my spare parts and add my own rubber o-ring gaskets to the top and bottom so the head unit didn't drip out the whole time you try to enjoy your shower.The plastic shell of the cartridge is quite thick, which honestly held up fine without cracking while I was manually modifying the edges to make it fit. Once I finally got it seated and sealed with my own gaskets, the water pressure still felt pretty strong and the filter material seems to be doing its job filtering the water. It works fine if you don't mind a little DIY tinkering to get a tight seal, but it definitely wasn't a seamless plug-and-play experience for my specific setup.

This product was designed to fit a MyHalos showerhead. I have four showerheads in my home that take advanced 15 and 20 stage filters, but none is a MyHalos. What I do know very well is the size specifications of the filters that would fit in my existing showerheads and I knew this item fit the bill. This filter is very well constucted with 7 layers of solid filtration. These filters typically need to be installed in one direction in the showerhead and that is the case here. I am grateful that this item has a mesh side (which I know should be positioned closest to the water outlet) and a hard plastic side with holes (that goes toward the front of the showerhead where the water comes out). However, although a very nice filter, I cannot give this product 5 stars as I find the price of about $20 for one filter on Amazon before any tax or shipping costs are added in to be very steep. There are vendors on Amazon who sell 4 very acceptable multi stage showerhead filters for about the same price.

I have a filter cartridge system behind my showerhead that uses this size filter and I am about ready for a replacement. The filter appears to be really good quality and I appreciate that it is sealed in a plastic bag with adhesive seals on both sides of the filter. The different filter beads inside remove chlorine, heavy metals, limescale and fine particulates and sediment. It also has activated charcoal to keep the water feeling fresh. The top of the filter has a fine stainless steel mesh and the bottom has holes to pass water to your showerhead. The water flows well and there is no pressure drop. Depending on your daily use and your water hardness, the filter should last about 6 months. If you notice a drop in pressure and the beads no longer shake, then the filter is exhausted and it is time for a new one. This filter is constructed better than some if the other filters I have use and I like this combination of filter bead types. The filter really makes a difference in how your skin feels after a shower, especially in the Winter. Keeping my shower and tile clean is a lot easier. I have a water softener, but only on the hot water, so this filter really makes a difference anf the price is reasonable for the quality you receive. Included with the filter is a sheet with instructions and specifications.
