Power Tool Organizer Wall Mount

We have a junk room in the basement, which is where we try to hide the fact that we are pack rats at heart from any company. However, it finally got to the point where I couldn't stand it any more, so I hoped this would help, and it absolutely exceeded my hope. First - it is HEAVY - so make sure it's stud mounted. With that said, it's very high quality and should outlast the apocalypse with no problem. It's a beast. I got it together in about 45 minutes, although the directions kind of make you back up and redo part to get the side brackets on. If I had taken a minute to read all the way through and see how it went together, I maybe could have avoided that step - but maybe not. It looks great, It's big enough to hold all our little electric hand tools, and between the hooks and the shelves, we completely reorganized an entire work bench. Since organization was the goal, it worked wonderfully.We agree that now we're just going to fill the work bench with more junk now, but at the very least we will be able to grab a drill, a battery, and the right box of screws when we need them instead of sifting through the mounds of stuff.

The box was heavy, which told me right away that this was a serious, substantial piece of equipment. Looking at the size of the rack, I figured mounting it in the garage was going to be a lot of work.Assembly definitely requires following the directions carefully. As a helpful note for future buyers, I suggest checking the Amazon product page if you need any additional guidance while putting it together.Once it was assembled, it turned out great. It now keeps everything I need for certain types of DIY work together in one spot. It feels heavy-duty and well-built, making it entirely worth that initial setup effort. Definitely a 5-star purchase.

Pretty good. A bit smaller than expected, the picture implies it will hold circular saws through the grates, but it won't. Instructions have you assemble then disassemble to add side holders. But overall good enough, especially for price.

My husband is in the process of organizing the garage so this is perfect to help organize some of his power tools and other hand tools and such. This organizer is quite sturdy and the listing says it can hold up to 300 pounds as long as it is mounted safely on the wall. It has a lot of room and has holders along the bottom for power tools and on each side for hand tools like screw drivers, wrenches and pliers. That keeps all those loose tools from getting lost as well as keeping them within easy reach. I like how well the power tools fit along the bottom of the organizer. They are held securely and look nice and organized. The other shelves are perfect for more power tools, containers of screws/nuts/bolts or tool boxes.The organizer is pretty easy to put together. You will need a few tools like a screwdriver, a wrench, a drill and possibly a level to put it together and mount it. Depending on the type of wall you are hanging it on you may need wall anchors.This organizer is a great way to get a garage, a workroom, or even a craft room organized. You have lots of space to put stuff and the holders on each end are great for holding loose tools. These are strong enough to hold a lot of weight and they don’t feel like they will bend or warp. The price is pretty average for a shelving unit of this size. Overall, this is a well made and quite useful shelving unit and is perfect for getting things organized and easy to find.

There is definitely value in having all your chargers and spare batteries in one place. A rack with all your battery power tools hanging within easy reach, especially if it is located near the door, would be very convenient. In my opinion, this rack takes this good idea but doesn’t carry it off successfully. This rack is sturdy enough but other factors make it less than a success.The instructions are sparse and the way the pieces are identified in the illustrations sometimes does not contribute to clarity. Note in the first two photos, the letters “I”, “J”, and “L” inside circles identifying parts. The positioning of the letters inside the circles, with the lower parts of the “J” and “L” so close to the bottom of the circles, makes it difficult to distinguish the “I”, “J”, and “L”.It is nice that this rack is compact, but it has such close spacing that utility suffers. There is not enough space between the bottom rack and the shelf above to allow the batteries to be installed in most of my tools while hanging on the rack. This is especially true if the battery is a larger high-capacity type. Having to slip the battery into a tool as you take it from the rack requires two hands and reduces the convenience of having the tools so easily accessible. Perhaps removing the next shelf up would be worth it to allow all the tools to hang on the rack with their batteries installed.The chargers must be set on the top rack for a similar reason. There is not enough space between any of the shelves to allow the batteries to be inserted into the chargers when the chargers are on any but the top shelf.What started out as a good idea was implemented in a way that sacrificed convenience for compactness.

The tool organizer is heavy and durable. Nice looking have a lot space for me to my tools. Having been looking for organizer to put all the tools together. This one is great one to get. Cannot wait to put it on the wall.
