I’ve always loved using filtered showerheads, so having replacement filters on hand is a must for me. These filters are easy to replace and fit my Canopy bath tub/showerhead as expected.They’re a convenient way to keep my filtered showerhead working properly without having to replace the entire unit. This replacement cartridge is truly compatable with the Canopy showerhead. It is currently less than $14 USD for each replacement filter, while the original Canopy brand filter is nearly $50 USD, which makes this significantly more budget friendly. I examined a new replacement cartridge from this brand alongside the original Canopy brand cartridge and here are my thoughts: the pods are the same shape, but the packaging of the filter does not look as lux (they are likely saving lots of money in production), and it really doesn't bother me at all. Upon closer examination, it looks like the contents are very similar, but the "beads" used in this filter are not as small or fine as in the original pod. This filter replacement also had some noticable charcoal flaking coming out of the mesh when bumped against the table, while the original Canopy filter did not. This may have an effect on the softness of the water, water flow, or water pressure, BUT I cannot personally determine a significant difference while in use. Like the original, it was very easy to install this filter. The water flow was great, no leaks.Overall, I think this is best for someone who wants to spend less money on refills. They claim to be made of the same ingredients, but this filter has larger "beads" that the water is filtered through. If you are okay with a product that is not identical to the Canopy brand refills, but can do the job to make your water cleaner, this is the replacement for you. Great value.
