very nice. easy to to customize and fit in the location. only thing is the screws they provide for the 4X4 post for the hinges could be longer. Used some 2 inch ones I had laying around. also they used a couple of silver bolts. would have been better in black to match.

We had one of those open deck stairways that every dog, toddler, and unattended beverage eventually finds. This gate went up on a Saturday morning and the problem simply went away.Aluminum is the right call here. It is light enough to hang by yourself, it will not rot or rust, and the black textured finish has shrugged off sun and sideways rain without chalking or fading.Install is straightforward if you measure first. Mine mounted to a solid post with the included hinges and latch, and a drill, a level, and about thirty minutes got it done. Measure your actual opening rather than the deck width, and remember the hinge side eats a little space.The swing is smooth and the latch is positive without being fussy for adults. Two notes worth passing along: run the mounting screws into real framing instead of a skirt board, and if you are gating a pool, this is not a self closing self latching assembly on its own, so check your local code before you count on it.Good value for a gate that looks like it belongs on the deck instead of like a hardware store afterthought.

It's exactly what is advertised. A lightweight, easy to assemble gate. With all included screws, bolts, hinges and latch. Our German Shepherd has decided she likes to jump off the deck this year, previously the 6' chain link yard and high deck ( with rails) kept her inside...but she has a boyfriend she likes to visit nearby and the jump hurts her legs. So now she stays put in the yard, as jumping up stairs she hasn't mastered....yet...Good quality, all inclusive kit, albeit a little on the thin side, but it works and I assembled it and installed in about an hour.
