3 Tier Heavy Duty Storage Shelves Unit

I ordered this shelving rack because I’m always needing more vertical storage for my home and business and thought it looked nice enough to give it a shot. It came in well packed and without any damage. I have about 10 72x48x24 metal muscle racks that cost between $ 80-100 a piece depending on when you buy them and who you buy them from. That's about 2.5-3 times the space for less than this rack costs. That's my biggest issue here. Other than that, this rack is well built and easy to put together. The one thing it has on the others is that it looks a bit better in a home with its matte black finish, but the others don't really look bad either, just maybe slightly behind in that area. If you really like the look, then go ahead and grab it. I just think it would be a bit more attractive at a better value proposition.

Super glad I found these! My boyfriend put them together in about 10 minutes, and they were much easier to assemble than I expected. So far, we have lots of tools and other garage items stored on the shelves, and they feel very sturdy and stable. I really like being able to adjust the shelf heights depending on what we’re storing. The metal construction feels heavy duty, and I’m not worried about the shelves bending or sagging under the weight of our tools. They’ve already helped us get a lot more organized and make better use of our storage space.

Very heavy duty shelving. Easy to assemble and the shelves are adjustable for height. Perfect for heavyweight objects, tools, paints, etc. Works very well in my workshop. I currently am using it for 5-galllon buckets of paint and assorted hand tools and cases, all of which have significant weight and this shelf holds them well and without difficulty. Durable, stable, well made from quality metals. Well written instructions for assembly are included as is all hardware. Good value.

This is a very high-quality, durable, and stable metal shelf for storage. It's perfect for any garage, shed, or home - and while being heavy-duty enough for large material storage, it's stylish enough to place on the inside of your home for storing or displaying various items.The shelf holds very large and heavy items, and isn't affected by the weight at all. It actually makes the shelf more stable to store heavy items on top of it, as the metal connectors are secured by pressing them down into the shelf connecting holes. I was a bit overwhelmed by looking at the amount of pieces involved in putting this together - but was very surprised (and relieved) that this shelf is extremely easy to put together. Each piece takes only a few seconds to secure, and once you get started - it takes less than 5 minutes to complete.This is the perfect shelf for heavy storage at a great price. I love it!

We just finished setting this up in my husband's workshop and it only took about 30 minutes, which was much quicker than I expected for a heavy-duty shelving unit like this. The instructions were straightforward and all the hardware was included, no missing pieces or confusing steps. It even came with a practical mallet for assembly, a nice thoughtful touch that made putting it together even easier. Once assembled, the shelves feel incredibly sturdy and well-built, you can tell this is meant to hold real weight, not like some flimsier storage units that flex or wobble. The adjustable shelving is a great feature, letting us customize the height based on what we're storing, tools, hardware, and other workshop supplies are all fitting perfectly. With a 1200lb weight capacity, we feel confident loading it up with heavier items without worrying about it buckling or bending. The QIHAI 3 Tier Heavy Duty Storage Shelves is a very nice, attractive unit that is designed well and will withstand a considerable amount of weight. The unit is all metal and the material is of good quality. The metal is painted with what appears to be baked on paint and the finish is very pure with no blemishes. The three shelves are adjustable and can be positioned anywhere along its height. The unit comes with eight plastic pieces that are inserted into the metal frame to protect the floor on the bottom and protect from the metal edges on the top. These plastic pieces are fairly snug when inserted however I did add a little adhesive to help keep them in place. While this is an excellent shelving unit that you can place in your garage or shop, it is also attractive enough that it could be placed inside the home.

Since I live in a small unit, I keep a lot of things in the garage. This seemed like a great way to keep some of that more organized and easily accessible.The assembly was fast and easy. It only requires a small mallet, which they provide. The instructions are very thorough. I found the wording a little bit confusing at times, but in the end, it’s clear enough.The metal is heavy enough, but I seriously doubt it could safely hold 1200 lbs, as they suggest. It’s about 18 gauge, I think (~1.2mm / ~.04”, per my calipers). The shelves do have cross braces attached to them (see picture), which will certainly help. The exact weight capacity doesn’t really matter for me, though, since I’m just using it for some boxes of regular stuff, and it’s plenty sturdy for that.The one issue I have is with the end cap protectors. They absolutely do not stay in place, so I’d suggest either gluing them in, or waiting ‘til you’ve positioned the shelves before inserting them. All four of the bottom ones and a couple of the top ones fell out on me when I was carrying and positioning it. I was able to find all but one of them, but they don’t provide any extras.These are functional shelves, but after looking at similar ones, I think these are really overpriced.
