Mechanical Water Mixing Valve
Mechanical Water Mixing Valve
Key Features
- ✅ Precise Manual Mixing, No Power Needed: Blend hot and cold water via the mechanical dial and lock in your ideal temperature with the set screw. No thermostatic cartridge, no cross-flow, just reliable, consistent warmth for sinks, bidets, and tubs.
- ✅ Ready-to-Connect Out of the Box: Unlike bare valves that send you hunting for hardware, this comes with compression sleeves and hex nuts pre-installed on all three ports. Simply screw on your existing 3/8" supply lines and you're done
- ✅ Clearly Marked Inlets & Outlet: H (red) for hot, C (blue) for cold, and an arrow for the mixed outlet are engraved directly into the brass body. Even first-time DIYers can orient the valve correctly in tight under-sink spaces.
- ✅ Lead-Free Brass with Integral Check Valves: Constructed from heavy-duty lead-free brass with a polished chrome finish. Internal one-way check valves prevent cold water backflow when the hot side is shut off, while meeting federal drinking water safety standards.
- ✅ Compact Under-Sink Design: Small enough to mount discretely beneath lavatories, kitchen sinks, or behind toilet pedestals. Widely used as a replacement for Sloan MIX-60-A below-deck mixer and other commercial manual mixing valves.

This mixing valve feels solid and well made, and the brass construction gives it a durable, professional quality. The pre-installed compression sleeves and nuts made installation much easier and saved time compared with assembling everything separately. The 3/8-inch connections fit securely, and after installation I had no issues with dripping or loose fittings. It does a good job blending hot and cold water and provides a steady, consistent output. The compact design is especially useful in tight spaces under the sink. Overall, this is a practical and dependable plumbing component that works well for both replacement projects and new installations.

Ordered this mixing valve for my bidet since I do not have a dedicated hot water connection in my bathroom. The functionality is exactly what I needed. I connected the hot water side to my shower using a dishwasher hose, and it works perfectly. It may not be the ideal setup, but it gets the job done and gives me warm water without having to run new plumbing. The valve feels like a heavy duty, commercial grade quality unit. I really like the small, compact design because it does not take up much space and was easy to fit where I needed it. Everything feels well made and durable, and it seems like it will last a long time. Installation was pretty straightforward, especially if you have basic plumbing tools. If you are looking for a simple way to mix hot and cold water for a custom setup like mine, this is a great option. I am happy with it.

This is a nice compact mixing valve and feels very solid and well made. The brass construction gives it some weight and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy like some plumbing fittings can.I like that the compression sleeves and nuts are already included, which makes installation pretty straightforward if you're working with 3/8" supply lines. The hot and cold connections are clearly marked, and the adjustment allows you to dial in the mixture to get the water temperature where you want it.This is especially useful for an under-sink application where you need to combine the hot and cold supplies into a single tempered water line without taking up a lot of space. Once everything is installed and adjusted properly, it's basically something you can set and forget.Overall, it's a simple piece of plumbing hardware that does exactly what it's supposed to do. The solid brass construction, compact size, and included compression hardware make it a good value and a useful option for this type of installation.

This is a small mechanical mixer valve suited for a sink hand sprayer, a bidet or even for a sweating toilet tank in humid areas. This is a basic valve in my opinion at 3/8” it may not be suited for larger or what I would term full sized connections to water lines.Upon arrival, the set screw for the mixing fell out when I unboxed it. This is a fitting that would typically be tightened after setting the appropriate mixture. The 3/8” fittings have brass ferrels and these are loose as well. I did not have good results with a water tight seal using these fittings and switched them out for a different type of pressure fitting. This is a solid piece of hardware and when used for the intended purpose and well sealed, should help solve a problem at an affordable price point. The price at the time of this review is $23.
