Totally pleased with this WINOVERCO sliding barn door guide! It replaces the original door guide (the one with the large outer wheel in my first photo) that came with my sliding door hardware set. The original guide has no inside roller, which made for a sloppy installation; the door was not held plumb to the wall and would tilt, bouncing back and forth as it opened and closed. Installation of the WINOVERCO guide was simple and took only a couple of minutes. Other reviewers have noted the lack of directions, but there are only a few simple parts and all you need is a drill and a screwdriver. Not difficult to figure out how it all goes--plus there is an excellent installation video on the product page if you do need help for some reason. The guide is well made, with plastic and metal parts and a powder coated bracket. It includes everything for either drywall or wood installation, and has a hex key wrench plus a couple of extra set screws for the adjustable outside roller.  It is pictured for indoor use, but mine is installed on a shed and I see no reason that it shouldn't stand up just fine for years to come. The WINOVERCO guide holds my barn door true, exactly parallel to the building, and allows the door to glide freely. This is a well thought out and designed product that does exactly what it should.

Stopping a heavy sliding barn door from swinging off its track was resolved with this wall-mounted bottom guide. The adjustable roller mechanism aligns smoothly to fit varying door thicknesses without scratching the wood finish. Mounting it directly into the baseboard keeps the floor clean and free of drilled holes.

Once you figure this out, it works well. The issue is…no instructions are provided. The wheels are non-marring and turn freely. Fully adjustable width to accommodate most size doors.

This WINOVERCO Adjustable Wall Mounted Sliding Barn Door Bottom Floor Guide is really nice and looks great. However, I need a different type for my situation. I gave it 5 stars because I would highly recommend it for certain uses. The attached photos should explain why. I would need to add a spacer behind this guide to accommodate the base shoe. That would cause the base plate to protrude a little farther than I would prefer. Since the wall-side guide is attached to the wall, there is no way to make the adjustment on the guide itself. The door in the photos is 1 1/2" thick. This door guide is made in China.

I’ve been using this adjustable barn door floor guide for a couple of weeks on the sliding barn door in my guest bedroom, and it has worked great. It keeps the bottom of the door securely guided and prevents it from swinging away from the wall while opening and closing.The adjustable design makes it easy to get a good fit for the door, and the nylon rollers allow it to slide smoothly and quietly. The hardware feels sturdy and well made, and I like the matte black finish because it blends nicely with typical barn door hardware without drawing attention to itself. Everything needed for installation is included, which also makes setup straightforward.I haven’t experienced any issues, and overall this is a simple but very effective upgrade for a sliding barn door. I picked this up for a future project involving a double bypass barn door in the basement. I wanted something to keep the door as close to the wall as possible to keep pets out of that room.It did not include instructions, but it seems fairly self-explanatory. It looks like it attaches to the wall, which is easier for my concrete floor basement application. The rest is just getting the pins and roller lined up. It is adjustable for thickness which is good because my top rail is going to dictate door thickness.It seems to be good quality with smooth rollers and a metal body.I haven't had a chance to install it yet but plan to update this review after I install it. I'm making my own doors instead of buying a kit. So, a product like this is very helpful to get the entire barn door system up and running.

I’m very pleased with this barn door floor guide. The compact design is a big improvement over some of the larger guides I’ve seen, and it keeps everything tucked neatly against the wall without taking up valuable floor space.Installation was quick and straightforward. I really like that it mounts directly to the wall instead of requiring holes to be drilled into the floor. That made it a great option for not drilling into concrete flooring, and I was able to get it installed without any complicated tools or professional help.The construction also feels solid. The aluminum body has a nice finish, and the nylon rollers allow the door to move smoothly and quietly. Once adjusted properly, it keeps the barn door stable and prevents the door from swinging or moving out of alignment.Another nice feature is the adjustability. These are relatively easy to install. They are not mounted to the floor but instead fastened to the wall. The bracket floats along the top of the floor and under the pocket door where you slide the outer guide on to the specialty designed track. The only cumbersome part is using the included tool to set the outer guide in place. You can only make half turns and it can take a while to lock the set screw down into the hole.One thing I have run into is some of my pocket doors in my 57 year old mobile home hover off the floor more than id like so I must raise the "L" bracket off the floor a 1/4" or more so the outer guide makes contact with the door. This creates an effect I call "toe-i-cide". It happens mostly at night during a trip to the restroom. Yes, nothing wakes you up from a sleepwalk to the kitchen that getting foot-punched by the edge of this bracket. For thoes brackets I have marked the edge after installation then cut off the excess and filed them smooth. Other than that this products a real winner.Cheers
