Non Slip Stair Treads for Outdoor Wooden Steps Decking & Slippery Ramp
Non Slip Stair Treads for Outdoor Wooden Steps Decking & Slippery Ramp
Key Features
- Dual Installation – Adhesive & Screws Included – Unlike standard anti slip strips, ours give you two ways to secure them. A heavy-duty self-adhesive backing grips hard surfaces like concrete, metal, and tile instantly, while pre-drilled holes plus the included 20 screws and 20 plastic anchors create the perfect non slip stair treads for wooden steps and decks. Use both methods together for an ultra-strong, permanent hold.
- Premium Blend – Built to Last 10+ Years – Constructed from a high-quality mix of polypropylene and elastomer, these outdoor stair treads offer exceptional flexibility, high tensile strength, and superior weather resistance. They easily withstand pressure washing, shoveling, and de-icing salts without peeling, cracking, or tearing. UV-stable and anti-corrosion, they'll deliver reliable safety season after season on any exterior surface.
- Aggressive Grip with Groove & Stud Texture – Don't trust smooth tapes. Our step grips for stairs feature a raised groove and stud surface that channels water, mud, and snow away while biting into footwear from every angle. You get confident 360° traction on slippery mossy wood, wet ramps, and frosty walkways, seriously cutting down the risk of dangerous falls for your whole family.
- Slim, Barefoot-Friendly Profile – At just 2" wide and 1/8" thin, these step grips sit flush against the step edge to prevent tripping. The elastomer-enhanced texture is tough on slips yet gentle on bare feet and pet paws—unlike fiberglass treads that can splinter or expose sharp fibers over time. A safe, comfortable choice for homes with kids, seniors, and furry friends.
- Complete 5-Pack Kit – Installs in Minutes – This value set includes five 24" x 2" anti-slip strips plus all required hardware. Simply mark your layout, clean the surface, peel and stick for hard floors, or screw into wood for instant slip resistance. These outdoor stair treads can be cut and combined to fit stairs, decks, docks, and ramps perfectly—ideal for residential, commercial, and RV use.

I live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot, especially during the winter. I also have two outdoor, unfinished wooden stairs leading from my kitchen down to my cement patio. When the steps get wet they are slippery, having almost caused spills in the past. I decided I needed to add traction to the stairs before someone takes a nasty fall so when these non-slip treads became available I ordered a set.You get five treads in the box, each about 23 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. They are offered in three colors; beige, coffee, and gray. I decided to go with the beige. They have a groove and dot texture which grips the bottom of your shoes aggressively, even rubber soled sneakers. Each strip has heavy duty adhesive on the bottom and four pre-drilled screw holes. Small screws and anchors are included in the kit.Installation was pretty easy. After removing the dirt from the steps I positioned the strips using the adhesive. I then used the included screws to make each strip more secure. My steps are wider and longer than these strips so I used two strips on each stair positioned in the middle. They don't cover the whole stair but they now cover the area that is used the most when entering and exiting the kitchen. They are a little pricey at over seven dollars each but they seem much more sturdy than the then adhesive sandpaper-like strips I saw at the local DIY store. If I had a larger area to cover I might have to rethink the cost.So far they've worked great through a couple of summer rain storms but the real test will be this winter. I may have to replace them eventually but I think they'll do the job for a while.

Great product, easy to install. Like the adhesion to hold in place while screwing it down. Best value for the money.

These are fair anti-slip stair treads. I don't expect them to have longevity to them. The plastic they are made from- I expect to get brittle if on outside stair treads. The self-stick adhesive would only be good for a clean, slick surface. Do not try using the self-stick on wood/concrete.

Theses were a bit smaller than I expected. But they are thick and has good adhesive.

We added these to our outdoor steps to make them a little safer, and so far they've worked really well. Since our stairs are covered and protected from the weather, we decided to use the peel-and-stick installation instead of the included screws. The adhesive has held securely, and we haven't had any issues with the strips lifting or shifting. If we find that the peel-and-stick isn't working as well, then the screws will be a great option as well. They have excellent grip without feeling rough or uncomfortable under bare feet. It's a noticeable improvement, and it gives us a little extra peace of mind when carrying things up and down the stairs. We also added this for our dogs to add some grip and so far it is working well.I was surprised by the size, they are long but on the thinner side so I felt like each step should have two treads instead of just one.Overall they were easy install, have held up nicely so far, and seem to be a good quality for the amount.

These treads are just what I was looking for. I replaced some rubber matting on my outside wood steps which have been causing some long-term moisture issues. The adhesive backing is very strong and supplied screws make sure the strip remains in place. Great product!

I purchased the GELINTONG Anti-Slip Stair Treads for my outdoor wooden deck and steps as part of an ongoing deck improvement project. The package includes five strips, each measuring 23.62 inches long by 2 inches wide, with both self-adhesive backing and screw-down installation options. My first impression was that the strips were smaller than I expected. Since I have a 1,500-square-foot deck, five strips don’t cover much area. However, rather than using them on the stairs themselves, we decided to install them on the upper deck leading to the steps, where the surface tends to become slippery after rain.I was impressed with the quality. The strips are thick, sturdy, and feel very durable. They have an attractive appearance that blends well with my deck’s aesthetic instead of looking overly industrial. The textured surface provides excellent traction while maintaining a relatively low profile.I also like that the kit offers two installation methods. You can use the heavy-duty adhesive, the included screws, or both for a more permanent installation, depending on the surface and your needs.Overall, although I wish the strips were a little longer or that the kit covered more area, I’m very pleased with their quality, appearance, and grip. They provide added confidence on wet decking and are a great option for improving safety on outdoor steps, decks, ramps, and similar surfaces. I would recommend them for a small area.
