For those who are new to this type of tool, a metal nibbler is used for cutting sheet metal. Instead of using a spinning blade like a cut-off wheel, it uses a small punch that rapidly moves up and down, removing tiny pieces of metal as you guide the tool along the cut.This metal nibbler feels well made and solid. It works great with my DeWalt 20V battery and has plenty of power for cutting sheet metal. The auxiliary handle provides good control, and the cuts come out clean and smooth without bending the sheet metal much. It is easy to guide in a straight line and also easy to make curves and different shapes. The rotating head is especially useful when cutting from different angles.The three speed settings are convenient for working with different materials and thicknesses. This metal nibbler is a convenient and useful tool to have, especially when working on projects where having a cord getting in the way would be frustrating. It fits the DeWalt 20V battery perfectly making it especially convenient since I can use the batteries I already have on hand without needing to invest in another battery system. The tool feels solid and well built, and it has a comfortable grip that makes it easier to control during longer projects. It cuts through sheet metal cleanly and smoothly, and I really like the maneuverability compared with using a larger corded tool. This thing nibbles! I put it to work cutting through sheet roofing and it went through with ZERO problems. What impressed me most was how easy it was to control when making something other than a straight cut. I needed to cut a tight circle for a drain vent, and this was absolutely perfect for the job. It followed the curve nicely and cut through the metal like it was butter.The tool itself feels solid, the auxiliary handle gives you good control, and I really like having the battery level indicator right on the tool. For cutting curves, circles, openings, or other shapes in sheet metal where a traditional cutting tool can become awkward, this is incredibly handy. After actually putting it to work on my roofing project, I'm very impressed with its performance.

I got this for a project I have yet to do. I have, however, messed around with some thinner sheet metal and I've had no issues with it at all. This his is the fifth or sixth tool by this company that I currently own. I do like the brand because it's decent quality for house type use and it uses batteries that are already currently own. It comes with a wrench, as well as an extra handle for either side to help stabilize it. It also has allen wrenches and a bag to put it in, pretty much everything you need except for a battery. I have the milwaukee compatible one, and it works great.

I’m really impressed with this cordless metal nibbler so far. It feels solid and well-built, and the brushless motor has plenty of power for cutting through metal. I like that it’s compatible with Milwaukee 18V batteries, so I didn’t need another charger or battery system. The grip is comfortable and the assist handle gives you much better control while cutting. Having two blades included is a nice bonus too. Definitely a handy tool to have for metalworking and DIY projects.

This is probably the fourth or fifth power tool I have reviewed from this company and all have been good to excellent. This one is particularly well-made with a heavy duty, body and harden steel parts that do the cutting. I immediately took it out and started looking for different pieces of sheet metal to see how it would do and I was surprised pleasantly at how much power it had. Listing shows all of its capabilities in thicknesses for aluminum stainless, etc. but just because it'll cut it does not mean that it's easy to do so. This nibbler move steadily right across the sheet with no hesitation. It did deform the aluminum tested on, but that material I found was also deformed when I use my pneumatic nibbler, probably twice the impact of course the model. All in all it might be not in industrial grade but excellent for homework workshop the occasional user.

I picked this up mainly for cutting metal roofing panels and it's been a solid tool for that job. The 800W brushless motor has plenty of power behind it, and running up to 1900 RPM it moves through the material fast without bogging down.What stood out most is how easily it handles curves. Anyone who's used tin snips or shears on roofing knows the material tends to roll and curl up as you cut, which makes clean lines a pain to manage. This nibbler doesn't do that since it's punching small bites out of the metal rather than shearing it, so the sheet stays flat as you follow a curved line. Fair warning though, it makes way more of a mess than shears do. You'll have metal shavings everywhere, so it's worth doing this outside or somewhere you don't mind sweeping up after.The 360° rotating head is genuinely useful too, since it lets you reposition for awkward angles without twisting your wrist into weird positions. The assist handle helps keep things steady, especially when you're working overhead or at an angle on a roof.It runs on Dewalt 20V batteries, so if you're already in that ecosystem this slots right in without needing to buy a separate charger or pack. Just keep in mind the battery isn't included, tool only.For sheet metal work, especially roofing, this has replaced my shears for anything that isn't a dead straight cut, mess and all.
