So far, I'm really impressed with this set of belts. They cover the grits 99.9% of sharpeners will use on a knife and are on average about half the price (or more) of name brand competitors. Obviously, they work for more than just sharpening knives, but since that is how they're being sold, that is how I'm evaluating them. If you're a pro, there may be reasons like heat generation to stick with say, 3M at lower grit, and the following: I currently don't know how long these will last. If you're not going through a lot of knives in a short period of time, these seem like more than enough to get started, and to do other jobs as well. If any of them wear out or fail prematurely, this review will be updated, but, so far, they have to get the full five.

This is a great assortment of sanding belts for the price. I like having all the different grits available, from the more aggressive belts for shaping and profiling to the finer grits for finishing and touch-ups.I've only used one of the grits so far for a test run, but it fit my 1x30 sander properly and held up just fine during use. Whether you're making a knife, changing the profile, or just doing a quick sharpening touch-up, these belts work well for the job.The variety of grits makes this pack a good value, especially if you like having different options on hand.

Regular knife sharpening doesn't typically require a whole set of different belts like this, but if you're trying to fix severe edge damage or restore a worn out knife, sometimes having a whole set of belts like this can make a huge difference in how easy the job is and how nice it turns out in the end. I can't speak to the longevity of the belts, but they do fit my sander and are in a good variety of grits. That grit variety makes the belts very versatile as you have several grits to choose from for sanding different items. Some grits are more effective at removing lots of material while some are more effective at achieving a smooth finish that is ready to move to the polishing phase. The belts' joint where it forms a loop appears to be durable enough to not come undone from regular use, but make sure to set your sander's tension as directed and not apply too much pressure to the belt while sanding in order to prevent damage to the belt. Considering the wide variety of grit you get in this set, it's a great deal and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a good set of belts for sharpening and blade edge work.

Good quality sharpening belts, two pieces of eight different grits, the belts are made well and don't load up quickly, grits for rough and fine sharpening and everything in between. Price was very reasonable, they fit my belt sander very well and are effective for sharpening knives and other tools.

I recently picked up the Kquzemra 1 x 30 Inch Sanding Belts for knife sharpening, and I have to say, I'm quite impressed. This pack comes with a nice variety of grits, ranging from 80 all the way to 3000, which is great for different sharpening and polishing needs. I've been using the 120 and 240 grit belts for my knives, and they really do the trick. The belts fit perfectly on my 1x30 belt sander, so installation was a breeze. I was initially worried about the durability since I've had mixed experiences with sanding belts in the past, but these have held up well even after multiple uses. The quality seems solid, and they don't wear down too quickly, which is a plus for me.Switching between grits is easy, and I've noticed a significant improvement in the edge quality of my knives. The finer grits, like 1000 and 3000, really help give a polished finish that looks almost professional. I’ve also tried them out on some woodworking projects, and they worked great for smoothing out rough edges.Overall, I think this 16-pack is a good value for anyone who does knife sharpening or woodworking. Having the range of grits means I can tackle various tasks without needing to constantly reorder. I’d recommend these belts to anyone looking to get a reliable set for their sander.

Impressive set of sanding belts for a 1" sander/sharpener system. Fit without any issues. I like all the different coarseness grades with this set. Can take a super dull item and get it sticky sharp. The different grades are great for different applications. They are durable and have a quality feel them. Compared to name brand sanding belts I can't really see any difference. They do a good job and are effective at grinding and sharpening.

GrThis is an excellent assortment of 1" x 30" sanding belts with a wide range of grits for everything from aggressive material removal to fine polishing. Having eight different grits in one package makes it easy to progress through each stage of a project without having to purchase multiple sets. The belts themselves are heavy duty and appear to be well made. The backing is sturdy, the joints are clean, and they track well on my belt sander. They feel like quality abrasives that should hold up well under normal use.I especially like the grit selection. Starting with 80 grit for shaping or stock removal and progressing all the way to 3000 grit allows these belts to be used for woodworking, metalworking, knife sharpening, and even polishing.Overall, this is a great value for anyone with a 1" x 30" belt sander. The quality of the belts and the excellent range of grits make this a versatile kit that's well suited for the home shop or serious hobbyist.eat Assortment of Quality Sanding Belts

First observation, I thought the belts looked very good. I like the bi-directional tape seam on the sanding belts. At the same time, the belts still have a directional arrow printed on them. To be safe, I still mounted the belt to travel in the direction of the arrow. I may try reversing the belt direction at a later date just to test the bi-directional claim. The belt tracked very well on the sander and as I mentioned above, I do like the bi-directional tape seam if for no other reason, you don’t get that ‘bumping’ feel when sanding something. I do like not having that when I am sharpening a knife. It provides for a very smooth operation. I used the 1000 grit belt and it did a very nice job of sharpening the knife blade. I passed the knife four times on each side of the blade on the sanding belt and the knife blade was very sharp afterwards. I tried slicing a piece of paper after sharpening and it sliced right through the paper like I was using a razor blade. This is very good set of sanding belts.
