This is a set of 10, thin, non-slip glue strips with adhesive on one side and gritty texture on the flip side. The color is black, they are 6" wide and 30" long.Adhesion is very good but advance prepping is required, tried to stick the first one without sufficient cleaning of the surface and it did not stick. Be sure to allow ample drying time BEFORE applying the glue strips.After prepping the area, simply measure and choose the area you want them to be. Simply start at one corner and peel back the covering from the adhesive. Lay in place and mash firmly on top of the strip to ensure good adhesion. (I actually used my wife's rolling pin from the kitchen and it worked very well.). Repeat the process until you have completed your project.They are thin but have a good adhesion and good grittiness to make walking easier and prevent trips and falls or slipping. Good value. NOTE: there is NO glow feature.

These stair treads are exactly what I needed for my outdoor steps. They provide excellent traction and make the stairs feel so much safer, especially when it's wet or rainy outside. The 6" x 30" size fits perfectly and covers the main walking area well. They stay firmly in place and feel very durable. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to prevent slips and accidents!

This set of grip tapes for stairs is very nice. There's serious grip even with the most slippery shoes after putting these on. We only have 2 steps outside that I needed these for so I decided to use one for my bowflex as well. I cut it up into smaller peices to add grip where I needed it. Works great there too. I love a versatile product that can have multiple uses. Cutting it was easy with just regular sisscors too. The grip of the tape itself holds tight. Once you press down and adhere to whatever surface it's stuck there after 10 min or so. We've had some rain and lots of sun and high humidity since I put them on the steps outside. They're holding up great so far. They're easy to see during the day and at night since there's such a high contrast between the concrete and the black grip. If you have darker steps you may want lights to see where to step. The tape itself is a good thickness. It feels solid after taking the backing off. As for the grip outside it's just as good as the ones inside. Even in the rain, I had a good grip on the steps. It's a great way to add that next level of safety especially if you have elderly or children around often. Overall a great grip tape for a great price!

These are very good quality stair tread grip tape strips - 10pcs per pack.The black grip side, if I had to compare it to something would be like between 80 and 100 grit sandpaper (I would say between 90 and 100 if there was actually 90 grit sandpaper).I only peeled back a corner of the sticky side to test, and it is quite sticky, but I would suggest cleaning the surface you plan on applying this to prior to installation.The dimension is 6" wide by 30" long, so they should fit in the center of most standard stair treads. I plan on using these at our camp in the Adirondacks - if anyone has spent time in a forest that is primarily pine, you understand that sap, pine needles, and because of the abundance of shade, mossy slime type stuff that likes to grow on wood and is slick as all get out in the rain, coats all of our stairs. Most times we throw a handfull of sand in with the paint when we do our semi semiannual painting and work detail, but I think this will last longer and be slightly safer.I cannot see how you can go wrong with these grip strips, especially at this price. I recall purchasing some of these several years ago for a project (do not recall the make), and certainly they were double to triple the price, almost to the point where we almost passed on buying them.I may have to get more of these as in addition to the two sets of stairs, we have a long ramp (makes it easier to haul the coolers up, plus some of our members are getting up there in age) which could benefit from these as well.
