These HIGHDRIL diamond hand polishing pads have been a real help on a couple of recent tile and stone projects. The 4-piece set covers the useful range: #60 for aggressive material removal, then #120, #200, and #400 for progressive smoothing and polishing.They cut faster and more evenly than regular sandpaper on porcelain tile edges, granite, and marble. The diamond grit holds up well and the flexible foam backing makes it easy to work contours and edges without digging in. I’ve used them both wet and dry — wet is cleaner and keeps the pads cooler, but dry works fine for quick touch-ups.The pads are sized well for hand use and the grit progression is logical. After working through the sequence you can get a nice, uniform finish without swirl marks if you keep the pressure light on the finer grits. They’ve already outlasted a couple of packs of conventional abrasive sheets I used to go through on similar jobs.For anyone doing tile edge cleanup, stone touch-ups, or glass/marble polishing by hand, this is a solid, no-nonsense set. Highly recommended.

I bought these for my son to use while polishing rocks, and they've been a fun addition to his project. The different grit levels make it easy to work through the polishing process, and they seem to cut and smooth material effectively.They're comfortable to hold, and it's nice having multiple grits included in one set. While they're marketed for tile, stone, glass, and similar materials, they've worked well for our rock polishing projects too.Overall, these are a cool set of diamond polishing pads. They've been useful, easy to work with, and a great way to help turn rough rocks into something worth displaying. It's surprisingly satisfying to watch an ordinary-looking rock slowly reveal that it was hiding something beautiful all along.

These are perfect for small projects. I used them to buff my headlights that have been yellowed and frosted up. I started with the 200 grit then to 400 with a wet sand. I then worked my way up to 1000 (not included) with a wet sand. I then finished it up with some clear coat. My headlights are back to new! Using these for that project showed me how durable they are and how easy they maintain their shape and grit. I could see these working well on other sanding projects. Seems like they’d last quite a while. Great value for the money!

These are diamond coated polishing pads that are just over 2 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" tall. They come in different grits, just like sandpaper with the higher numbers indicating finer grits. They are flexible and have a loop backing (hook & loop style/velcro) and can be mounted to a backing pad for steadier or more solid pressure. Using a backer pad can help to protect your hand by providing a better grip. Otherwise, if you use them as they are, they will flex and your hand can slip off the back. If you don't know, tile edges can cut you.Nevertheless, these work very well on tile. I used them on porcelain tile and had no trouble smoothing out small chips from a cut edge. However, in order to remove them completely, I would have needed a backer for the pad.These are well made and their flexibility allows them to fit into tight corners, however, I prefer having a backer already attached. These do not seem to offer the same value as other options.

These diamond hand polishing pads have a very unique and deliberate pattern which helps them perform very well and will quickly become one of my go-to tools for finishing projects. The set includes four grits (#60, #120, #200, and #400), giving you everything needed from aggressive material removal to a smooth finished polish. Having all the common grits in one package makes it easy to work through the entire process without needing additional pads.The diamond coating feels durable, and the abrasive cuts quickly without showing much wear after several uses. The coarse pad removes chips and saw marks efficiently, while the finer grits leave a clean, smooth finish that looks professionally done. They also rinse off easily after use and appear to be built to last. i especially like them on wood finishing, i sanded a 4x8' rubberwood bench top and prepped it for sealing and these pads looked like they were not even phased. Normal sandpaper would certainly not have survived.I've also tested them on ceramic tile, stone, and concrete edges with excellent results, and it's nice knowing they're also compatible with granite, marble, glass, terrazzo, and other hard materials which i am unable to test unfortunately. They're especially handy for tight corners and other places where power tools simply can't reach. The foam backing provides a comfortable, secure grip, making them easy to use for extended periods.My only real complaint is the price. They perform exceptionally well, but they are definitely on the expensive side compared to similar hand polishing pads. If you're only tackling a small one-time project, the cost may be hard to justify. However, if you regularly work with tile or stone and want quality pads that should last through many jobs, the investment is easier to appreciate.Overall, this is a high-quality polishing set that delivers excellent results. The premium price keeps it from being a perfect five-star product, but the performance and durability are hard to fault.

I ordered this 4 piece set of diamond hand polishing pads for my shop. While they are touted for polishing ceramic, marble, granite, glass, etc. I have found them very useful for initial correction on knife blades, before sharpening them on my 1000 and 2000 grit diamond wet stones. They are also very useful for sharpening my carbide lathe tool inserts. The set consists of 4 pads, in 60, 120, 200, and 400 diamond grits. The pads have a felt like backing, and are 3 3/4" x 2 1/2". They can be used with a sanding block, or freehand, where they can be bent somewhat for curved surfaces. They quickly sharpen carbide inserts, and are great for removing small nicks and dings from well used knife blades.I feel these diamond polishing pads are an okay value at their price point, and I give them 5 stars.
