I haven’t had the chance to hire an electrician to install this fan yet, but out of the box, I love the look of it. It is also very lightweight compared to the heavier metal fan that is there now. I love the design and the fact that the blades are all securely inside the wooden cage. It works out well that it is low profile, as it is for a basement bedroom with a drop ceiling that is lower that standard height.

I've been searching for the perfect ceiling fan for our master bedroom for months. I've looked at dozens, ordered a few, and sent some back. The search is over. This fan is gorgeous. The wood cage gives it a warm, furniture-like look instead of the typical builder-grade ceiling fan. It fits our bedroom perfectly and complements the natural wood and softer colors in the space. It feels more like a light fixture that happens to have a fan than a fan with a light attached. The fan is also impressively quiet. Even on higher speeds, all I noticed was the airflow. No humming or rattling, which is exactly what you want in a bedroom.I like having separate controls for the fan and light, along with multiple fan speeds, a timer, and the reversible motor. Since you supply your own bulbs, you also get to choose exactly how bright or warm you want the lighting.Installation was straightforward, with many of the parts already assembled. Once mounted, everything felt solid. If I had one wish, it would be for an integrated dimmable LED instead of standard bulb sockets. That's a personal preference, though, not a complaint.I've reviewed a lot of lighting and ceiling fans over the years. This is one of my favorites. It's the rare fixture that looks even better installed than it does in the listing photos.

I got this for a smaller room and it ended up being one of my favorite upgrades. It has that warm farmhouse look without feeling cheap, and everyone who walks in asks where I got it. The light is bright enough for everyday use, and the fan does a surprisingly good job moving air even though it's compact.Installation took a little patience, but once it was up, it was absolutely worth it. It's quiet, looks beautiful, and really gives the room a cozy feeling. If you're looking for something that's both functional and a conversation piece, this is it.

I wasn’t really sure whether this fan would look OK in our den. When you unpack it, you still really can’t tell how it will look installed. The frame and fins are wood, put the fan itself is plastic. It looks plastic, so I thought it might not look so good once installed. You need to buy golf-ball sized light bulbs, nothing else will fit. That’s OK, because using bigger bulbs would look weird, and dominate the entire fixture. The blades will hit any bulb bigger than the ones shown. You can slightly bend the arms that hold the bulbs, which will allow even bulbs this small to avoid the fan blades. Once installed, it comes together and looks perfect for a smaller den-type room. The fan is strong enough, and quiet. It wobbled slightly on the slowest speed, nothing bad, but I thought it would get worse the faster it spun. The opposite happened, it got smoother! Bottomline, this is a unique looking ceiling fan that looks great in the right environment!
