This hard hat is really nice! Easily adjustable to fit most head sizes. I used for my sons construction party and it was perfect. Very light on my head, not too heavy at all. It was comfortable as well so that it wasn't painful or uncomfortable to wear. It seems pretty good for protecting your head but I wasn't using it for that.

If you can wear this hard hat on your job, I highly recommend clicking the add-to-cart button right now. I've worn a lot of hard hats over the years and without a doubt the majority of them were bought in serious bulk and handed to new hires because they were cheap and met minimum standards for the job. Let me tell you why I like this one. Unless I'm holding a pipe for a welder overhead, I don't care for partial or full brims on my PPE. I don't have to lean my head back as far to look up and maintain situational awareness. This hat has a very comfortable 6-point harness, with a soft sweatband and a ratcheting adjustment to fit your noggin, quick-adjust comfort without removing the hat. It's also cut a little higher on the sides, promoting better ventilation. I have some vented hats, and they don't seem appreciably better for airflow. Then there's the chin strap. Usually thrown away at first use because they just don't fit my huge head. Imaging my surprise that not only did this chin strap buckle up comfortably, but there was extra room! Lastly this hat has pretty nice anchors for your headband headlights to stay secure when you need one.In conclusion, this hard hat is a great value and quality build. Oh yeah, you can also purchase visors for it to supplement your eye protection and look darn good while doing it. That's next on my shopping list.

I really like this helmet! I have a pretty small head and most helmets just don't fit great. This one fits nice. The ratchet mechanism is very easy and makes finding the right size a breeze. I find the suspension system to be very comfortable. This one doesn't seem to pull my hair as much as others, where I've had to wear a "doo-rag" to prevent. The helmet comes with a card indicating it meets ANSI criteria, though it doesn't say which criteria on the helmet or packaging. A couple of US flag stickers were included and were easy to apply. There are enough flat areas to apply other stickers, such as medical, rank, job function, etc. My husband has a bigger head and felt this helmet was OK for him, but the helmet looked a little small, almost perched, on his head, even though the suspension adjusted to fit him. But for someone with a smaller head, I really like this helmet!

When it comes to purchasing a hard hat, the first thing I always look for is whether or not there is any venting in the hat. If there is no venting, that typically means the hat may be rated for electrical arc protection but check the certifications to be sure. Having purchased several hard hats in the past, I can tell you that one of the big draws of this particular one is the price. I have ones that cost four times as much as this one yet the basic protection of this safety helmet is more than adequate for most users. It features a six-point suspension to help isolate any mechanical contact on the outer shell from your head. Size is easily adjusted using the knob on the back. Two reflective US flag stickers are included and the marketing photos show one being adhered to the rear of the helmet and one to the side. There is a provision to separately purchase a visor that will attach to this hard hat as well as a separate pair of hearing protectors. The brim on this hat is minimal so if you want to have better sun protection you should consider purchasing a separate add-on sun brim which are easy to find on the market today. Pricing is absolutely outstanding for this hard hat. Highly recommended.

The helmet I received (the white version) is exactly like the photos and the video on the Amazon page. Exactly.Very good quality helmet. Nothing at all wrong with it that I can see. The plastic outer shell is much stronger than I expected.I have never had a true hard hat (helmet) before and I sort of expected it to be similar to many bike helmets. A dense "Styrofoam" inner part under the plastic outer shell. If I had paid more attention to the video on the Amazon page I would have known that's not how this was made. It has a strong, well made harness holding the plastic outer shell away from my head. Apparently that is the correct way for a hard hat to function. It seems to work very well. The chin strap is very adjustable for comfort or personal preference.By the way, I strongly suggest you pay close attention to the Amazon page video. It does an excellent job of showing the helmet and it's structure and features. They claim there are helpful items that can be attached to the helmet.I got this because I often use a tractor and other equipment/machines out on some remote property. I'm often alone and use multiple safety items to protect my hands, feet, legs, hearing, etc... However, I had forgotten my head.I now have comfortable, and apparently well made, protection for my head.I am quite pleased with this and feel it is good value.
