This is a beautiful, minimalistic outdoor wall light. I had this fixture installed on the house near a deck with hot tub. This light gives off indirect light. It’s not blinding or harsh. It’s perfect mood lighting.The entire design fits with any decor. The entire product is manufactured of quality materials that resist the elements and are not susceptible to corrosion.And the dusk to dawn feature makes this light reliable, convenient and economical.The fixture was very simple to install. It took about 15-30 minutes. It’s hard wired into existing wiring. And since it is dusk-dawn, a switch installation is not required.This fixture pays for itself with the low voltage. I got this dusk to dawn auto sensor modern light to put on the outside of our house beside the new door on the side of our house. I love that it comes on and goes off automatically and we don't have to go into the garage every night to turn it on. I believe more lights equal more security. Therefore, it is important to me to have a lot of lights on our house. This comes in an iron frame with a black matte finish. The shade is made of acrylic and seems durable. There are two different sizes. We got the bigger one because the smaller one seems too small to go by our door. The LED light saves about 80% on electricity vs. traditional bulbs. So many outdoor lights get full of dead bugs and dirt. I love that this has a sealed acrylic cover to prevent dirt getting inside it. This is great for outdoors, but it can also work inside as well. It comes with everything you need to install it. My husband did it in just about an hour and a half.

Zsmaiku exterior lighting on my front deck has been simple but effective upgrades for the exterior lighting of my modest home. I used to have motion sensitive large incandescent bulbs that over time deteriorated in appearance with the motion detection accuracy slowly failing. The dusk-to-dawn sensor is built-in and automatic — it turns on at sunset and off at sunrise on its own. No adjustments possible or app needed. I will have this sconce on the same switch as the other sconce porch light so the effect is it should just operate as normal when switched on.I could install this lighting myself but I have a professional electrician neighbor who loves small projects like swapping out: the light on the right will be replaced with this new flat sconce with the dusk to dawn operation feature. The flat shape means there is less hanging out in the world vulnerable to damage by animals, people or environmental exposure. Waterproof design is also better than my previous motion detection fixtures which I always worried about getting wet while operating.This new sconce is similar to the existing Zsmaiku sconce on the left which is only activated on and off with the wall switch. LED built-in lighting that will not burn out or needs replacing is one less thing for Gremlins to tamper with at trick or treat time. The level of lighting is just right not too bright not so dim that you can't see anything.I am not sure if I will actually use the dusk to dawn feature on my front deck, I may swap it out to my back porch where a light constantly on will not annoy me or any of my neighbors. I am pleased how gentle the amount of lighting is rather than the big powerful strobing of mercury vapor lights I grew up with on all night long in the neighborhood.

The fixture looks just like the listing photos, with a sleek, modern design and an attractive warm glow in all directions. However, the listing does not make the hardwired installation requirement prominent enough.I was searching for a solar dusk-to-dawn light and missed the hardwire detail because it is easy to overlook in the description as written. I deducted one star for that reason, as I’ll need to install it in a different location than originally planned. Otherwise, it appears well made, capable of delivering the advertised look and lighting. The matte black finish looks clean.

The sensor came on once dusk hit and clicked off by morning, so I stopped having to guess the right moment.
