I'm excited to have these mini cutting discs. They are perfect for small cutting jobs where I need the power of a diamond blade.Note: They are small! They are designed for small projects and will not work with a Dremel rotary tool.They cut well and maybe go to a depth of ⅜ inches into the material if going straight down. They are small! But they cut well and cut in areas that a larger disc would not be able to fit.The description says there are two removable flanges, but the set comes with one. Not sure if I need two, but just to clarify what comes with the set.So to summarize: they work great with small detail projects where the cutting power of diamond is needed.

Good MINI and i emphasize... MINI.... Cutting discs. If you look at the listing photos you expect a 4-1/2" sized disc, all the photos show the disc filling the size of the grinders shield like a 4-1/2" disc... These are NOT that big and i missed that because of the photos, my mistake, i should have read it more, these are about 1-1/2" in diameter, which makes them kind of difficult to use, unless the grinder is over the edge of the material its hard to cut across the surface of something when the disc is smaller then the head of the grinder, you end up cutting at a 45 degree angle to get the disc to contact the surface due to the head size of the grinder. Now if you were cutting along an edge and you can have the grinder out in open space then you can get full parallel contact with the cutting disc, but you won't be cutting that deep, the average thickness of a piece of porcelain tile is about all the deeper you are going to cut, and if the grinder has to be over the surface its even less and at an awkward angle.Knocking off one star because of the deceptive photos showing full size grinders with a wheel that takes up the full size of a 4-1/2" grinder. While they are pretty well made and they do cut good, they are pretty limited in their usability due to their size when on a full size grinder, and they can't be used in something like a dremel because it takes a lot more power then that to spin them. It might be possible to use them with something like a die grinder for better access to the cutting edge, but i don't have an arbor with the correct center size to try it.Value for the money? I guess it depends on your use case. I wanted to use them to cut some tile on a wall, the problem is its hard to get full contact with the cutting edge due to the grinders head size, and i tried both my corded and cordless grinders but it still left me turning it at an angle to get full depth of cut.
