These zhax 23PCS 3/8" Drive Low Profile Nano Impact Socket Set, Metric Size (6-24mm) 6-Point Stubby Sockets with 3" 6" Extension Bars, Socket Adapter & Universal Joint For Tight Space, Cr-Mo Steel (Metric (6mm-24mm)) work great! The low profile is super useful in those tight areas. I work on JDM cars and they really cram the huge V6 into a tiny hood!! This set has made the work a lot easier to do because they actually fit in those tight areas.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. The only thing bad he said there’s a lot of oil on them. But he says they are nice and sturdy. Super easy to read the sizes and easy to use. He says he will get many years of use out of these and that he is super pleased with them.

This is a really nice set of low profile impact sockets in a convenient carrying case. This set includes 19 sockets (6-24mm with no skipped sizes), two extensions (3” and 6”), plus a 3/8” swivel and a 1/2”F to 3/8” adapter. The 6 point sockets feature a radius corner design that prevents rounding and stripping of fasteners. The shallow low profile design is great for tight spaces, these will fit where standard sockets can’t. These are impact rated and the set comes with a 1/2”F to 3/8” adapter so you can use them with 1/2” and 3/8” drivers and impacts. I have also found that the hex base of each socket can be turned by a 17mm wrench which could come in handy for a tight spot where there isn’t room for a ratchet or impact wrench. The dual drive function of these sockets makes them super versatile and a fantastic option for confined working spaces. This set has proven to be as durable as it is versatile. This is a fantastic set of tools and it is well worth the money. I have several tool sets from Zhax and they have all been fantastic so far. You won’t be disappointed with these. Five stars!

They weren't kidding when they said these were compact sockets. Surprisingly, though, the small size hasn't mattered as much as I thought. I haven't encountered a situation where only these sockets would fit in the tight space. The design is excellent, versatile set of low-profile sockets. It's worth using a set of low-profile sockets as your regular set. The set is flexible and covers a wide range of socket sizes, far wider than my regular full-size sockets covered, and has commonly used adapters and joints that all fit in a compact case that holds everything.The build quality is also excellent; the sockets are machined to an exacting tolerance and standard, and the coating is flawless. Something that bugged me, though, was they came in covered with a lot of oil; they were basically swimming in it and made the sockets shiny. The size ID markings are easy to see, although a little bit more contrast would have been better, and it would have been even better if it was etched into the metal instead of what looks like laser printed on.

I picked this set up specifically for working in tight spaces, and it definitely delivers on that front. These sockets are noticeably lower profile than a standard socket set, which gives you extra clearance in areas where a regular socket simply won't fit. If you've ever fought with bolts tucked up against a frame rail, suspension component, or engine accessory, you'll immediately appreciate the reduced height.The included accessories are also a nice bonus. The swivel joint makes it much easier to reach angled fasteners without putting unnecessary stress on the socket, and the included 1/2-inch to 3/8-inch adapter adds some extra versatility depending on the tools you already own. The fact that everything is impact rated is another plus, allowing these to be used with an impact wrench without worrying about damaging the sockets.Build quality seems solid overall. The sockets fit fasteners well, the black phosphate finish looks durable, and the markings are easy enough to read. The case does a good job of keeping everything organized and the size range covers many of the common metric fasteners most DIYers and mechanics run into regularly.My biggest complaint is actually the storage case. The lid has no obvious branding, logo, or markings to indicate which side is up. The first time I grabbed it off the shelf, I accidentally opened it upside down and every socket fell out of its holder. That resulted in a few minutes of sorting and putting everything back into the correct slots. It sounds minor, but after it happens once, you'll immediately understand why a simple logo or "this side up" marking would have been helpful.Aside from that issue, this is a very capable specialty socket set. It's not something I use every day, but when clearance becomes a problem, these sockets can save a lot of frustration. If you frequently work in cramped engine bays, under vehicles, or around suspension components, this set earns its place in the toolbox. The case design keeps it from being a perfect score for me, but the functionality and versatility make it an easy 4-star product.

This is a fantastic no skip set of chrome moly "nano" style 3/8" impact sockets. Nano sockets allow you to turn any 17mm wrench into a low profile ratchet that fits places where you wouldn't otherwise be able to fit a ratchet with a traditional socket on them. The clearance on these with a 17mm wrench is very impressive.Overall the build quality is as good or better than any other nano socket I've used. The walls are very thin for an impact socket. I would have liked to have seen etched sizes on them, but the laser markings seem to hold up to abuse. The case is fairly small and compact for as comprehensive as it is. The 6 to 24mm no skip set covers every 3/8" size you would reasonably want to use but I'm not really a fan of all of the filler adapters and extensions. Every set comes with these and I have way too many. I'd prefer to just have this set come on a socket rail with no extensions or adapters.Functionally these work great with any 17mm ratchet wrench. Personally I used them with a "toolant" 17mm ratcheting flex head wrench and they worked great. They are loose, but if you just put a piece of an old nitrile glove around the edge and oil it before you put it in it locks it in as well as any retaining ring and slips out with just a little force. As an aside, I ordered an "astro tools" nano ratchet to use with these and was disappointed to find out the sockets don't fit. However, I'm not entirely convinced I didn't just get a malfunctioning nano ratchet as the retaining ring stuck out quite a bit compared to my 1/2" astro version of that wrench that I have. I'm curious to see if other people are able to use these sockets with the astro ratchet, but honestly I think I prefer the reversible standard ratcheting wrench anyways.Overall it's a great set of sockets, but at the $50 this was when I ordered it, the price is a bit high for my liking. If you can get the name brand with a socket rail big enough for the entire set for only $10 more, I'd definitely go with the name brand with a lifetime warranty over this one. Personally I found myself ordering a socket rail to put these on which cost more than $10, and it's hard to find a 19 slot socket rail so you need to buy two. However this one has some extensions and a nice case if that's how you'd choose to go. If you're just looking at the 6-19mm version the name brand is actually cheaper than these with the rail included. I do really like these sockets, but I just can't give them a 5 star rating at this price point when you can get a lifetime warranty set for about the same price.
