Very high quality landscape lights. These are infinitely better than the cheap solar powered lights you can buy at the big-box stores. Yes, there is an investment in money and time but you'll end up with landscape lighting that will be reliable, good looking, and will last for many years.These lights have a nice adjustable hood that works nicely to hide the lens if the fixture needs to be pointed outward, rather than towards a wall or upwards where you wouldn't normally see the glare from the lens. That's a nice feature. The lens is also glass, not plastic, so all you need to do is clean it off once in a while. It won't scratch, crack or discolor like cheap plastic lights do.You will of course need an appropriately sized transformer and wiring. There are plenty of calculators on the intenet to help figure that out. When in doubt, oversize, especially if you think you may want to add additional lighting in the future. It's generally a lot cheaper to buy a bigger sized transformer then it is to buy a second one down the road.

I’ve had landscape lights before and this is more beautiful. This has a very sleek, upscale look to it. It doesn’t look like cheap metal. It looks more like brushed bronze. It’s also a bit heavier.It comes with everything you need to power it, including the bulb. I’m new to this type of landscape lighting. I thought it would be hard to assemble, but it was easy.My last landscape light blew a fuse. This one is compatible with the outlet voltage and does not trip the breaker. It appears very durable. The value is better than my previous lights. I think this is going to last awhile.Five stars!
