First, the shades on this are snap-on, wrap around, velcro close - yikes! For a permanent peninsula chandelier?!Second, the shades are not white, as described; they’re natural.

Beautiful, clean and traditional. Exactly as described and a great value.

I installed this 3-light island chandelier above my kitchen island, and it was a fantastic upgrade. It completely changed the look of the kitchen and added a stylish focal point without overpowering the space. The combination of the matte black frame and warm linen drum shades gives it a modern farmhouse look that feels both elegant and timeless. The quality of this fixture is excellent. The metal frame feels sturdy and well constructed, the matte black finish is smooth and attractive, and the linen shades are nicely made. It has a premium appearance and looks much more expensive than its price point. The design is simple enough to complement different décor styles while still making a statement.Installation was straightforward and easier than expected. The included hardware and adjustable down rods made it possible to set the perfect height above my island. I really like that the height can be customized, making it suitable for different ceiling heights and room layouts. The three E26 bulb sockets provide plenty of light for the kitchen island. The linen shades do a great job of diffusing the light, creating a warm and comfortable glow while reducing harsh glare. It provides excellent task lighting for cooking and food preparation but also creates a cozy atmosphere for meals and entertaining.Another great feature is the ability to use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch. This gives you the flexibility to have bright lighting when needed or softer ambient lighting for relaxing evenings.Overall, this is a beautiful, well-designed chandelier that combines style, durability, and functionality. It was the perfect addition above my kitchen island, and I am very happy with the quality, appearance, and value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a modern farmhouse light fixture that is both attractive and practical.

This 3-light chandelier from mavcadonf has a beautiful matte black finish and light beige shades.I’ll admit that I was skeptical of the quality upon opening the box. The lamp shades have to be assembled, with the fabric snapping on to the hoops via plastic clips before closing with velcro. Once installed though, the chandelier looks really nice. I think the design may actually be beneficial if damaged. I may be able to repair rather than replace it.The chandelier can be hung at various heights from 20.47 inches to 49.21 inches. My dining room ceiling is over 10 feet and had only a flush mount light. We switched it out with this and what a difference! Our dining room is so much brighter and sophisticated. The price for this chandelier is comparable to similar ones sold on Amazon and is well worth considering. I would recommend it.

I'm in another mood to redo things in my house and lighting fixtures can make the biggest difference. This will look great over my island or dining room table. I'll likely choose the dining room. It's a great size but my island is 10' long. That makes it a little more difficult to find the ideal fixture. The shades are the perfect color of white linen but change with the lighting whether natural coming through huge windows or using a dimmable option. It sets the mood for the type of dinner you are having and of course with little ones a simmer light is more apt to be less stimulating. The matte black hardware goes perfectly with the linen texture of the shades. Very complementary of one another. This chandelier will be quite easy to find other fixtures to look well with and keep the vibe of the multiple rooms that are open up to each other. At this point it's only been held up to both options and even with that I love, love, love it. YAY me for a great decision made.

This dining room island chandelier has a beautiful balance of modern and classic design. The white linen drum shades soften the light nicely, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the matte black linear frame adds a clean, contemporary touch that works well with a variety of décor styles. It looks especially elegant over a kitchen island or dining table, but it can also work as a statement piece in a bedroom or living room. Overall, it's a stylish light fixture that feels much more expensive than it looks and does a great job of combining warmth, sophistication, and modern design.

This light is fabulous and brings a touch of classic farmhouse style to our dining area! The style is very flattering to our decor and gives our dining space an upgraded and improved look! It is lightweight, making it easy for my husband to manage and install it on his own. The entire installation process was simple, taking less than 25 minutes. Assembling the shades was also a simple task. One of the great features of this light is the rod length option. We chose to hang the light closer to the ceiling, but I love that we could have chosen to drop it lower. It's perfect for over a bar, over a table, or almost anywhere! We love this simple light that has a wonderful impact on the space! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful dining room chandelier, or one that could also be used in a kitchen island situation. It’s a linear chandelier. That means there were three lights hanging from a pendant and aligned in one straight line, connected to brass pipes that run down to sockets and support a set of beautiful white linen drum shades.Sadly, I must report that this fixture requires assembly assembly required. Always reminds me of Christmas Eve putting children’s toys together, and will I get them done in time? This requires that all three shades be assembled. The manufacturer suggested it was not complex, but the shades do not arrive preassembled. They inform you that they will give you the wire rings for the top and bottom of the shade, and the three linen fibers that snap onto and connect to the rings. This establishes the shades. That must assemble the fixture itself, a brushed gold crossbar with wires and three lights. You must make certain the wires are all connected correctly to the three sockets for the light bulbs, which are not suppliedThis fixture uses three E26 sockets, and the lightbulb manufacturer recommends not using a lightbulb larger than 60 W, which is not supplied. That would be 180 W. Valley power would be a very bright light indeed when you acquire your LED lights, given that 9 W of LED light is equivalent to 100 W of incandescent light. I would also recommend that you get what they call Edison lights rather than standard LED lights, which I built and found ugly. On occasion, the ones with little squares light up. I think ugly lights that emulate the old Edison lights, with LED filaments in white. This is because people will be able to look up under the shade, see the light, and make a judgment about the quality of the light if you want brighter than 300 W of light in that location, you may get larger, yet you can double and get 20 W LED lights, and then you’d have 60 W of LED light which is a tremendous amount of light. The manufacturer suggests installation is easy. It is if you have an existing standard junction box that will support the fixture. The fixture is not heavy, and most junction boxes will do it, but as you assemble it, you can compare the junction box's strength and how well it secures a joist in the ceiling to the weight of the texture and make your own determination at that time.Since all electrical work should be completed before any other work starts, I strongly recommend that you locate the circuit control panel box in your home. I’m assuming for this example that there’s still some sort of fixture in the junction box that you’re gonna begin working on, which actually generates light, and you can tell when it’s on. Turn the fixture on. I have a friend or significant other watch the light and yell down or through the air, or use a cell phone and keep in contact with you as you turn off circuit breakers until you’ve turned off one that affects that light. You can then talk to the person is washing the light for you and say OK. I’m turning it back on and see if, in fact, it turns out that way, you’ll know you have the correct circuit breaker.Once you’ve turned off the correct circuit breaker, you should perform an additional test to not rely on that solely. You should take an electrical testing device. I always carry a device that looks like a little red pen. When you push the top of the red light, it lights up. If you bring the tip of the pen near an energized wire, it will start flashing and chirping like a bird. If I bring it near the 240 V clothes dryer line, it’ll chirp even louder and flash faster, warning me of the potential electrical hazard. This is an important safety device to use whenever youNow you determined that itNow you determine that it’s safe to work on this junction box, pull the fixer out, remove the lock nuts from the existing fixture, and make certain that the wires are black, white, and green. Have half an inch of the insulation removed. There’s no need to re-strip the wire if they are already in good shape. Next, disconnect the installation plate from this fixture. It’s probably Aubrey's installation plate, but this is the type of installation plate that has two screws facing away from the junction box and down toward the fixture. Those two screws then connect to the fixture's canopy with decorative nuts to secure it in place. Make sure you have these screws installed in the install plate and fully extended, and that you’ve secured the decorative nuts to connect them to the canopy itself. Once you’ve done this thread, the three house service wires through the install plate in the center hallNext, take the black wire from the fixture. Make sure to remove the last half centimeter of insulation. Place the adjacent and facing the same direction as the black wire from the house service side. Place a wire lock, and turn both wires a little with the wire lock nut clockwise until a firm mechanical and electrical connection has been establi...
